He knows how to outstretch the goalie plus he hits super strong and accurate. But he does all this without even looking at the goal and just looking at the ball, all the while creating the play. What a talent.

So true. The shoot powers are judged by the media based on the size of the legs and not the real shoot power. This video could continue with so many more examples of his shot power like the one against Ac Milan. Sometimes when he shoots, you can only see the ball when it hits the net.

Nobody can reliably hit the inside of the post like him. It's like a superpower. The best players can hit side netting most of the time but kissing the post every time is a substantial degree more accurate.

Most players these days just take the aerial route from outside the box whereas Messi employs the low shot so effectively and you can tell it is hit with tremendous force. This is such an underrated quality of him.

How the hell does this guy do it. You could make an hour long video about his long shot goals, his solo goals, his dribbles, his throughballs, his playmaking, his free kicks and even of him lifting trophies and receiving awards. No one comes even close to him 🐐

@@MegaTraianus i certainly didn't see his named among the best outside the box scorers that's for sure. What i know for sure though is that messi is on top of that list . Last time i checked messi had 95 outside the box goals when we don't include free kicks. If you want to add free kicks, add another 65 goals to that number

Messi's football skills are unmatched by any player past or present, but what I like most is that after those epic goals he doesn't clinch his fist or yell in rage, he just wave, smile, occasionally point his index up. Nothing arrogant like a Ronaldo or an Mbappé, although he is the greatest of them all.

Maradona was as skilful, if not more. And whilst Messi has always played for the best teams with world class players, Maradona achieved incredible and unmatched things with average teams like his Argentina and the Napoli team he won the hardest league with. All at a time where the best player just got fouled off the pitch.

This is so true af BUT it's hard to believe Messi is not comparable as he is still playing and scoring some good G/A, he may win his 8th Ballon D'Or and the True Fact is he is now a most complete player than any other Legendary Players.

Here is what ppl don’t get , it’s not about the beauty of his goals as other players did it , it’s not about his speed as other players have that speed too , it’s not about his movement in the field as other players move like him too …what make him the goat is : 1) The successful ratio of his choices of when to pass when to shoot when to dribble when to run and when to walk 2) his longevity doing what other legendary players did (been the best in the field) but Messi does it much more often 3) his ability to be at the service of attackers without selfishness and yet he is the one who score the most !! Probably ppl who played football at a high amateur level or pro level will understand better my analyses and how INSANE to be able to do what Messi is doing since decades !
