Hey Ryan, are you still using either of these products, if so which one please, or have you found a better alternative. thank you

Are you using the 500mm f4 version 1? I ask because I’m considering buying one and would love some input. Great videos btw. I work in the national parks and love shooting birds and wildlife.

Yes, that’s the first version with image stabilization. It’s a super great lens for the price. Extremely sharp and can take a beating.

Have you walked through bush or narrow rocky trails with the tripod legs open? Problematic? I like pointing the closed legs in front of me, carrying the kit over my shoulder, when in tight conditions so wondering if having the legs splayed would be problematic. Thanks for this review; excellent.

The leg that isn’t used for the shoulder padding can be closed in closer to your body when you need it to be. It’s probably still not as compact as what you describe though.

I bought the Legpad a few months back, wish I would’ve bought the Legcushion instead. The Legpad just doesn’t work well for me where it rest on my shoulder, I don’t like having the lens in that position.

Just buy the legpad
