Jeez time flies, I love my legion go I had the deck and ally, stuck with the legion for the gorgeous screen. Play mine every day, sometimes at lunch at work. Played all sorts of games, battlefield 2042, diablo 4, dying light 1 and 2, plus a bunch of oldies like n64 and snes. It is awesome for stand up arcades as you can put it in portrait mode and the stand still works.

I purchased the d brand skin for the controllers. It definitely helps with fingerprints.

I've had one for about 2 months, and I play that thing almost every day. I've played some indy games (Moonstone Island, Astalon) and Sega Saturn emulation on the Quiet profile, and was getting 4 - 5 hour battery life. Recently, I've been Playing Nier Replicant 1.22...., balance profile and high settings, getting 60 FPS and can usually play about 2 hours unplugged. It's a little heavy, and the controllers can dig in a little bit, but overall, I love this thing. I've even gone in and adjusted the FPS mode so I can do productivity on the go with music composing software, but I imagine it'd be pretty easy to do the same with any app that's very mouse reliant with a handful of the most useful keyboard shortcuts on the left controller.

Lenovo's wave of mega silent firings in early 2023 were absolutely despicable. They laid off thousands of really great people after posting record profits and bragging about moving up the Forbes list each quarter in their "All Hands" NA org sales meetings to those people that moved the needle for them. They ruined thousands of people's lives who relocated and rented or purchased new homes just to join the US sales organization during the digital boom of the pandemic and increase in business for them, forcing them to lose their homes and become homeless. Their warranty process is atrocious and considered terrible by anyone who has had to deal with service claims on top of this.

@@ikhw_n_ikhwan6693 So I downloaded warzone but I seems to always crash. I get as far as the loading screen for a round to start then crashes and sends me to my home screen. Not sure what the problem is.

I love my legion go! It was either the ally or the go and I decided the go because of the detachable controllers and the massive screen. I’m sure the ROG is decent but I’m happy w/ my legion go. I’m current playing Diablo 4 on it and love it! Cheers!

I have my Lenovo Legion Go for three weeks now and I'm using it almost everyday and I really enjoy it (desktop wise and Gaming wise), it's very well engineered :) Can't recommend it enough

​@@kenanffb I can't tell for sure because I am watching only youtube videos, but with OS power mode set to efficiency it should last about two hours or more. (Depending also on brightness)

I love my legion go I bought a couple of weeks ago when it was on sale at £588 I couldn't say no at that price I slapped an antiglare screen protector on mine too as it's basically a mirror without it

I can't choose between this and the steam deck OLED, this has way better performance but I don't want to deal with windows 11

Why does it show the game sales on the legion space app in $ when I am using it in the UK and why does nobody ever mention this lol also you can take the thumb sticks off in fps mode for more comfort on the right controller 😀

Depends. I personally got a Legion for the flexibility in what it can do and the features. I have surprisingly used it just as much as a tablet as a gaming device. Multiple USB ports that are full USB 4 (both of which can be used for charging or data), the ability to attach a USB/Tunderbolt 3 e-GPU dock to it (the ROG does not, only a proprietary one). The mouse being detachable is nice even if you aren’t using it to game. This thing has become more of a daily driver for me. In power saver mode it runs for over 2 hours - almost 3 if I’m just streaming a show/movie.

Wait for rog ally 2. Ally is almost perfect its just the battery and the sd card placement if people dont know how to adjust fan curve and the bezels should be filled up to 7.5 inch. Wait for the refresh Asus probably going to correct those.

So the answer is a bit nuanced. If you want to play games that are on Steam and a more console like experience, the Steam Deck is perfect. If you have a more diverse library over multiple platforms and/or XBox Game Pass (I have both of these), the Legion or ROG Ally might be the one for you. Also most anti-cheats do NOT work with Linux (Steam OS) which is what the Steam Deck runs on.

If you want a work tablet + a gaming console then the Legion Go is a better match, but if you want a better game console experience, go for the Steam Deck

The thing i hated these detachable controllers are they will be sure to wobble in the future the more u detach it. It aint a good experience if you are gaming with a wobbly controller. These alien buttons too is a complete fail. The nail in the coffin is Lenovo charges $1k over here at Asia.

My new legion go dies after 2 sessions of hell divers wich is less than a hour so I'm returning it keeping my deck oled

Less than an hour is crazy and shouldn’t die that quickly. I’ve been playing apex, cod and even forza on medium settings, balanced performance mode and it hold up for at least an hour and half
