For x3, I would highly recommend capping your framerate to 48 and lowering game settings so your base FPS is 100% consistent, and never goes below the cap. This drastically reduces input latency, and offers a far smoother experience with less artifacts. It also lets you use the full refresh rate of the screen the entire time. It's totally worth the worse game visuals. Edit: You should also make sure your GPU utilization doesn't go above 90%. When it does, it causes stutters and further increases input latency.

Wow, this is unbelievably good. Cyberpunk on Legion Go at 1920 by 1200 with everything set on High (except local shadow mesh at Medium) has amazing results. I'm quite stunned. Thanks for alerting us about v3 and explaining how to get it working properly, much appreciated.

This is honestly a game changer and WAAAAAYYYYY better than amdfm. I just downloaded it yesterday. Before, in my rog ally, 15w playing ffxv i was only getting like 40 fps with low settings. But now with lossless, im getting 80 fps easily.

Nice one. What would x2 run like on 1920x 1200? I play all my games on 1200p. Is that also a decent resolution to try rather than 800p? I am happy if I can double my frame rate and not necessarily need to triple with the x3. Can you please confirm if 1920x1200 is okay to try lossless scaling. Thanks again for a great video 🎉

you should have stable base fps. Don't just lock it at 48fps even though you are getting 35-40. If you get 35-40 (after generation base fps) lock your fps at 33-34

Yeah to be honest I’m not having a good experience with it. In horizon forbidden west it did make the framerate smooth as hell but then the game started looking worse graphically. Hopefully when I get some more time I can get it figured out because it looks great with spiderman. I’ll try that game next and see if it performs like it is for you.

You would cap it in the game. You capped it in the system. You effectively have the frame rate of the monitor at 50. So your not benefiting at all. You want to cap the game to 48 keep your monitor at 144 so you can see all those frames that are generated. Also if your having a hard time you can cap at 120 set the game cap to 40.

Legion Go would be the ultimate handheld if they dropped the windows install. I spend more to e fighting windows than using the handheld. I wish they had dedicated the time to a proper Linux distro.

​@@JahsonENT It's a known issue in many games to be honest. other users have this problem. with the 2.9 update it decreased a bit. the problem occurs in many 3rd person games. it happens to me with ZeldaTOTK (on yuzu), with EldenRing, with AlanWake2, with RDR2. Basically all my favorite games. If anyone has solved it, let me know, I would be grateful.

Input lag should be minimal if you have basic fps more then 30. If lower then that, input lag will be very noticable when frame gen applied.
