Thanks for thorough review. I'm starting school next month and I need one for at least 4 years at financial aid prices. I found this exact model at Costco for $200 off and I think I'm going to get it. EDIT: I got it and I'm very happy with it! The hinge seems to be designed really well and I love the ability to turn it into a tablet. I use it more than I thought I would especially considering I've got a lot of PDF textbooks. it makes it really easy to read them and the touch screen works great!

I bought the AMD version, a few days ago. I like it. It handles all of my office work, and FL Studio, without an issue. Work, and play. Sweet.

​@@seanp6685there is no ryzen 7530u version, you are mistaking this with the older flex 5, this one has a 8645hs as base config, which is a monster.

I realized w/o setting out to do so, I've become a Lenovo fan. I have 4! From a very lowend Chromebook, a Duet ChromeOS tablet, a Flex5 Chromebook, and a ThinkPad Nano with Linux and Windows. I think what I like about Lenovo is the chassis feel, even the cheap ones feel solid and aren't creaky or flexy.

i have the 14inch amd model, and its lighter. this is an office laptop, who cares about hdmi version there? the microsd only is the same on the 14" one, and there it makes sense, tbh. i have no use for an sd reader anyways. the usb cs also do display out. do not get the optional digital pen 2, that sucks, get a precision pen 2 instead.

I purchased the HP Envy 16 instead, much better for productivity for me.

@@SoulOfTech Thanks! It utilizes the incredible Core i7 13700H with 16 GB DDR5 RAM and 1TB SSD. The display resolution is same as the Envy 16 you reviewed, 2560p display with 120 hz refresh. It's slightly disappointing that I was only able to purchase the A370M graphics version instead of atleast the RTX 3060. It's suting me great for productivity. The hinge is like whatever for me, it is just decent. I actually like those grills design wise, they look great like Macbooks but with no function lol. What a GREAT upgrade from the Acer Swift 3 2019 Core i5 8th gen 4GB RAM. I absolutely love it. The Spectre 16 ain't available here, but Envy is still badass at a better price. It kicks off the Dell XPS 15 which has been regarded terrible for its low price to performance ratio.
