Hello, I was given a similar laptop to repair but it's missing a 5 leg component next to the display connector just after the diode. I'm still searching the internet for a board diagram or schematic and I can't find anything. The closest is a picture which shows it's a 5 leg component. Could you have a clear picture what component that is?
i have the same laptop, and as u know it has just 2GB Ram and i want to upgrade it . is it possible ??

im afraid thats not possible because what i can see from this video there is no extra slot for ram, only onboard ram
