    I think it's because that cars steering wheel has a lot of play. If you look at the video from the front he moves the wheel about 15 degrees before the car starts turning.

    Wow! This car looks like a handful to drive. Jay has driven hyper cars at close to 200 mph so he has experience handling all types of cars, yet this car is all over the road despite Jay’s constant steering corrections.

    Feel bad for Jay the steering is so lose that he never feels to be in control of the car. I’ve been though that with a Packard and a Stutz before while it’s a privilege to drive such amazing cars people forget the steering from certain cars of the period is so bad.

    What a marvelous episode. But this really makes me appreciate how far cars have become. I mean watching Jay trying to pilot this behemoth limo is torture. He looks scruntched, he can 't keep it straight if his life depended on it, he can barely see over the dashboard, let alone the hood. but yet.. a true work of art.

    I don't think Jay liked that limo to much. He looked like a size 12 foot stuffed in a size 8 shoe. The thing was all over the road and he was fighting the steering like the whole way. Yea! I love the Morgan.

    Tucker #50 from the Dick Burdick Collection in San Marcos Texas?. This car had only been driven 1/2 mile since new when the collection was auctioned by Sotheby's 3 years ago. Probably why Jay didn't drive it.

    Points for discussion of the IF engine! Informative Tucker presentation. Maybe have architects' drawings of the layout of the farm and house interior in an appendix. When we got a Morgan going for a friend. I had to ;put my feet on top of the tool bag because the floor was so hot. Riding on the left was much more uncomfortable than driving on the right! Great Show!

    No, that is just typical Leno driving. If you've watched a lot of his videos you will see that he is constitutionally incapable of keeping a car in the "roadway laned for traffic", always wandering into the parking strip or across the centerline.

    gorgeous red Isotta Fraschini was featured in a Clive Custler book (his own car.... programing suggestion : do a Tucker drive with Tucker Carlson....Morgan, the gift to wood worms and rot.... i've driven one briefly......watch word "primitive"....very nostalgic to those of us who cut our teeth on 4 cylinder Brit/Germ/Swede cars.....i had a Rover 200TC and a Volvo 544....fun

    Wow. That steering box needs some attention. Jay is working his butt off just trying to keep that thing in a lane. Looks like about a half turn of slop in the the steering.. and when it finally moves, it’s sticking. Yikes.

    Alot seem to be commenting on how the car must be a handful cause it's all over the place. Haven't you noticed, Jay drives all over the place in everythng? He is always crossing the center line. Just watch any of his car shows. That's the way he drives. Plus look like he has about half a foot of play in the wheel.

    The concept that cars didn’t have air filters because “air was cleaner back then” is ridiculous. Back then most roads weren’t paved so dust and grit was everywhere. Dust and grit are highly abrasive to engines. So while the air back then might have been cleaner for human consumption, on the frequently dusty roads it was far worse for engines. They didn’t have air filters because engineers at the time never figured on the high mileages attained in the years ahead. So filters to extend engine life were moot.

    Clearly there is an issue with the steering. It looks «sticky» somehow. Nothing ever drove like that, and I am old enough to remember very heavy non-assisted steering.
