What a shame that the interviewer and audience didn't let Lenny tell his story and mockingly laughed at him. This was almost a Victorian freak show spectacle. Lenny never sugar coated his life or apologised for it. Considering the arrogant fuckers we watch day in, day out in interviews, I found this man to be pretty humble and honest.

I once met McClean in the Pig and Whistle, he was in giving it the big un, i was in with a group of my architect friends enjoying white wine and a few sherry's. He looked over our way and i thought, thats it, I'm having none of this filthy beasts intimidating behavior. I excused myself from my colleges and marched over to his table. He had this look on his face like "how dare you come near me" I said to him, "i will be forced to thrash you if you don't refrain from looking at us and averting your eyes from me and my co-workers" he made this kind of a grunting noise, I seen this as a sign of insolence and proceeded to thrash the daylights out of him in front of his cronies and the rest of the bar. After I put him on the floor I proceeded to sodomize him to show him who was the boss. When i had spent myself I stood up, zipped up and proceeded to walk slowly back to my table. Then it happened, a slow clap from everyone in the bar, the bar manger was buying me white wine spritzers until the sun came up... Then i woke up realizing i had wet the bed again and mummy was asking if i wanted frosties or corn flakes... the end.

I knew him when he started using the gym I went to, a proper nasty bully that seemed to get enjoyment from intimidating and humiliating people, he would get young kids literally half the size of him to hold the punch bag while he knocked shit out of it, laughing as the kid went flying about, another trick he would frequently pull was to ask a young unsuspecting kid to spot the bar for him when bench pressing, he would deliberately hold the bar down when asking the kid to lift it for him, when the kids laughed as they thought Lenny was joking he would rare up at em becoming aggressive calling em weak, belittling these young kids, there was plenty of other nasty bullying I witnessed, it wasn’t good to see but Lenny had an audience of regular sycophants in the gym who would laugh at his bullying antics which Lenny played up to, it wasn’t nice.

Fantastic, never seen this footage before and I've searched everywhere for interviews with Lenny but they seem to be scarce. Just read his autobiography again for about the tenth time and find myself wondering why the hell there isn't a movie being made about this man, his story is a fascinating one. Rumours are that there's something in the pipeline for 2017 but I've been hearing things for years about this script being passed about so who knows. If it should happen, then who plays the guv'nor?...I'd like to see Craig fairbrass (who was linked with the role around the early 90s but still could pull off playing Lenny in his prime I reckon) or even tom hardy who did an amazing portrayal of bronson.
