A few tips! Hold the drift longer until you see purple sparks ( when necessary) that will give you a bigger boost. Try to go for the double items boxes. Don’t use items haphazardly, you kinda wanna be strategic with that (for example holding onto to a mushroom to go through the grass or difficult shortcuts). You can use a banana or a shell to block red or green shells. You also use the boom box to block attacks (except stars, bombs and boomerang I believe), you have to time it right of course.

@@passionfruit930 if you press the pause button while playing or when making your car it comes up with some buttons you can press to change things. Look for the one with the antenna

well for starters, turn off smart stiring and be more strategic with your items than just spamming em. When it comes to cart customizations , me personally i go for more of an acceleration combo like those tiny red wheels (forgot the name its 1am here) and a medium weight character to balance it out so u dont get pushed around too much. Learn the tracks, the more u play a track or watch how others run it the better ..also hold your drifts or wiggle it to get a faster drift (purple being the fastest). KEEP IN MIND mario kart is LUCK BASED, all the skill in the world isnt gonna stop a blue shell. YOU can go from front running to 4th quick if youre not strategic enough

forgot to add, collect coins thats in your path. 10 coins is max speed for your cart + good drifting

Actual tips: you will move faster with more coins on you. Study the maps in time trials to familiarize yourself with shortcuts. Most short cuts are done by crossing the off road with a mushroom. Try to take tight turns as often as you can to save time getting around. Turn off driving assist to gain purple sparks which are followed after the orange sparks when you drift, once you reach purple you can release it to go even faster than before. Rather than frantically using all your items on hand it's better to play defensively by keeping shells on you when you get them or boom box, fire flower, and boomerang as you can throw the boomerang and fire flower behind you to destroy items. High acceleration is a good stat so choosing karts with higher acceleration is a must for beginners. In case you didn't know acceleration is how fast you reach your top speed again after being hit by an item.

Gotta see more of this game😭I’ve got a sum tips… All the different characters have different stats and a good kart match up! Use a lightweight character with the teddy buggy and the roller wheels. Also start with 150cc its easier then online… Also in the start of the race (Countdown) Press the gass button right when de number 2 is on the screen for 0.1 millisecond, Not right away.

Bro I CANNOT play games like this. You'll be in first place and get hit with 20 different attacks
