So I want to get this set up in my shed up the garden but my extender doesn't reach so if I run a ethernet cable from the extender to the. Shed and then this to my tablet ,that'll work?

It should work. The speed and quality of the signal will depend also on the quality and length of the cable. But it should work in my opinion.
Can you up your plan to Gigabit speeds? I want to see if this adapter can deliver that type of speeds?

I plan on doing that. My current provider only allows speeds up to 500. But definitely something I am planning to do. That is the reason I haven’t been testing that aspect.

I bought it to do internet sharing on my Pixel 4. The ethernet adapter works but the passthrough charging doesn't. As soon as I plug in the charger the device keeps resetting itself and disconnecting. I came here to see if he got that working but he's not using the passthrough charging at all.
