I can say ive caught crappie on the crappie magnet! In 1 day at a new pond i used a bubblegum crappie magnet to catch bass (small and almost 3 pounds) perch, crappie, sunfush, bluegill. And even a freaking 8 pound catfish. Ive actually caught about 4 cat ish on them. With the small jig heads... it sprays blows my mind.

Leoooo, Great video! If you as re getting snagged, move the float up an inch or two, even if the magnet is just above the log, it draw the crappie out of the structure.

It seems everywere I manage to go fishing. Regardless of fish species im targeting and bait/lure I use. I always get skunked for some reason. Fellow anglers suggested I use lighter tackle. So thats what ive done. I got a new ultra light combo spolled with 4lb flurocarbon line. Hoping it will be enough to start landing some trout with the trout magnet or some crappie with the crappie magnet.

You should try just a classic curly tail grub

Chartreuse metal flake is my go-to for Crappie, caught more on that rig than any other!!! Slow retrieve popping Cork and stopping till it falls will hit on the drop most times!!!

Heeeeyy whaaaaattss uuuppppp Leo! Not everyone can be a crappie fisherman, sometimes it's a crappie day, sometimes it's not a crappie day! Sometimes a crappie jig catches crappie and sometimes you don't catch anything on a crappie jig. Either way it's a crappie jig being fished by a crappie fisherman in a crappie hole on a crappie day! But seriously, because crappie school together really hard, crappie fishing is hit and miss. If you find them, mark the spot and the depth, and you will catch a bunch if you just keep working the same area.

The state record lm bass in Texas was caught on a crappie minnow and setup.

Give ya a tip with those.work them real slow on a smaller float bearly move it. Also can rig them on a small 3 way

I have used a bunch of different crappie jigs and the crappie magnets or gulp minnows produce best for me.I love the chart/white but all colors will work.Its pays to change up colors if the bite slows down.

I'm from the country and when you see a bunch of worms after a good rain you use worms anywhere there is a lil creek running in to any major water way if he would have used them worms as bait he would have doubled down and caught crappie. Bass cats the fish we're already taking advantage of the worms way before he threw those in there

I think I catch more crappie on the trout magnet, probably because around here they have no size. bass love the crappie magnet

The Crappie Magnet should just b called the Fish Magnet. It may be the simplest lure made, but it catches every type of fish I thow it at. It almost catches too many kinds of fish. It makes it difficult to target any particular species.

I bought a whole kit with these things and the jig heads. Are you supposed to just cast out and let them do their thing? Or are you supposed to reel them back in slowly right away? I’m new to fishing. Just trying to learn how to use my various gizmos in my tackle box. Thanks.
