Cubs fans (and I’m one of them) should be happy that their team managed to finally win a World Series. Now it’s time to get on with their lives. Do something else with your summers. It’s healthier.

Home runs make you better. How about signing guys who play for avg. because is harder to make disappear. Home runs come and go like the wind. Currently they are no where to be found

Everyone keeps talking about hitting home runs. Although every team needs some boppers, I don't want a lineup full of .237 hitters that hit 35 HRs but strikeout 200 times. Not to mention, relying on the HR is gonna get more Ls than Ws. They need guys who can consistently put bat to ball and understand scoring situations. I'll take a bunch of .270 hitters with high OBP over a bunch of HR hitters any day. Getting somebody that doesn't take call third strikes right down the middle would be a great start.
