In amongst Bert Westwood’s motor sport home movies was this oddity.
It is believed that this silent footage was taken on 15th April 1961. It shows the start and finish of the AAA Ten Mile race at Hurlingham Park, London. The winner was Basil Heatley setting a new world record of 47.47.0
