The Trinovid 8x42 HD is my favorite. Excellent optics and very nice to hold in your hands. I absolutely love it.

Simple, brief, actionable info. Excellent review! One thing to add, and I know this because I make my living servicing binoculars for one of the manufacturers mentioned: reviews are helpful, but checking out the very optic you want to buy in person will always be useful. I can't speak for everyone, but our products are built to exacting specifications, and we as the manufacturer will make damn sure they fulfill those standards before we put them in the box. With all the high-end manufacturers you can be certain that you get the performance figures we publish, but what we publish is the minimum performance you can expect. Compare a number of units of the same model, and you may well find one where the stars aligned and the gods of light gave their blessing, and it performs significantly BETTER than the spec. Okay, a second thing: if you buy one of our admittedly pricey binos or other products and you feel like you don't completely understand it, or something - anything - seems amiss, please call or message our Customer Service! Part of what you paid for is real, knowledgeable people on the phone that you can talk to. We will be happy to help you get the most out of your optic!

The Conquest seems sharper because it’s more neutral , closer to the blue area where as the Leica is more towards the yellow spectrum. The Leica’s has a richer more saturated color image. The Leica makes colors pop more. But both are on the same optical level in the same price point, give or take a few dollars. The Leica also feels more refined in the hands, it’s Leica build quality. The Zeiss adjustable eye cups are atrocious and clunky for a binocular in this price range.

Would have liked the prices mentioned on the video. Also a comparison of the guarantee. Good review though.

can you please do a comprison with the swarovski cl companion 10x30 vs the zeiss eiss SFL 10x30? i am thinking of getting one of these 2.
