I feel like you might get different results in a sunny day with stronger shadows. The cloudy day probably created very soft and uniform light

Subbed and liked! Interesting video! For street shooting, I rely on starting from Sunny 16 and guessing, and when in doubt, I whip out the Sekonic L308x. Sort of trained myself to get good at eyeing it. Never have used a cellphone meter but that looks like a great option.

Don’t forget the meter in the Leica is a very good spot meter … look for the mid greys in any given scene and measure from that … works a treat …

Hey thank you so much for this video. I have recently picked up the analog SLR camera and getting photos right is so important especially because I dont have money lying around to keep experimenting and waste films. Your video told me I can depend on the app so really useful video. Thank you :)

Very informative! I just bought a 120 camera without light meter, I think I will do it fine with my phone if I know how to use it correctly and compensate for it’s flaws. Thanks!

Hello I have a question... In AMBI mode I can adjust the ISO/time/aperture ratios after the measurement. But if I use "non cord" flash measurement then I get a specific aperture value displayed. After the aperture has been displayed, if I now press the rocker switch - to adjust the time/aperture ratio - the aperture disappears and no time/aperture can be adjusted... Is that correct or is something wrong? Greeting

Just getting a Minolta Auto IV F but it seems from what I saw in your video that is not possible to fix lens aperture? it seems you have to recalculate each time

It would have been great if you did a sunny 16 shot as you want along … What was your film speed ? … Also it looks quite overcast so your readings will be quite constant… Nice comparison though… Hope you love your mp…
