For anyone who doesnt know the story behind this song well here it is: So a painter once had a wife named Leia who unfortunately died. In his grief he began painting a portrait of his beloved wife. During this he started falling in love with the painting, believing that once he finished it 'Leia' would become real. The more he painted the more real he thought she'd become but she didnt. He cried and begged 'Leia' to call his name but he never got a response. He continued the painting believing and hoping for her to become real, slowing losing his sanity. When he finished he realized that his hope had been just an illusion and Leia was truly gone. In his despair he set the portrait on fire, watching it burn before setting himself on fire and dying. He didnt want to live his life without Leia so joined her in the afterlife.

Super late but he never had a wife.. he just fell in love with the women he had painted (in other myths she was a statue he had made) and was heartbroken that she wasn't real.. it's a greek myth
