I worked at the quarry from '77 to '80 running both a Terex front end loader and the electric dragline nights. John Halloran and Mike(?) Geske ran the place. Went fishing there with my dad all the time too, who was the Material Service Corp. district salesman at the time. We used to put our boat in down by Red's house. I remember him always feeding the ducks. Anyone still around from those days?

Just came across this video. My father was there from 1975 to around 1990. You know him. Grandpa was there in 1953 to 1975 also.

Glad to see the ol girl still swingin....break out some more classic western ky, southern Illinois peabody jobs...I'm from eastern ky and mining is what kept me alive growin up in the 80s....I miss tipples,macks, and even all the things we hated then...money flowing 2as the key....
