    Hi Ania, this Lego model is one of the best for 2022. It is a big tree and you will not be disappointed if you get this set!

    Hello! thanks for this cool speed build! I wanted to ask you, I lost the black long axle, is it possible to be able to build the tree without it?!

  • @Brick2Rick

    @Brick2Rick

    Hi Youssef, yes the tree is buildable without the axle but it will lose a small amount of stability in the middle. If your model is display only then you will not notice any difference

    I’m torn between this set and the elf clubhouse. Two very different sets, but I can only get one. Hmmm

    Hi John, this Xmas tree is an excellent display set and I highly recommend it. However the Elf Clubhouse is going to retire very soon and it is probably best to get this one first. I expect Lego will re-release this Xmas tree next year as they did with last year' smaller Xmas sets - the sleigh and the wreath. Hope this helps!

    I like the tree just built it, but does the top half of your tree spin?? Mine does, and I'm like, is this correct?? I just wish the star on top was gold or silver instead of plain yellow.

  • @Brick2Rick

    Hi I agree the top of the tree can spin but is held in place by decorations. The top half is easily removed for storage I guess! Also your suggestion of a gold / silver star would have looked awesome but I bet it comes down to price for Lego, refashioning an existing part in a new colour.

    how long did this stop motion take? i like to do the same thing with my lego sets

  • @Brick2Rick

    @Brick2Rick

    Жыл бұрын

    Hi there! Lego stop motion (construction only) is fairly easy and just takes a few seconds in between each shot once you are all set up. You need a good tripod, a camera with manual exposure (to keep the photos looking all the same in terms of brightness) and a solid base or mat to stop the pieces moving too much. It does not really extend the build very little in terms of time. Putting it together on the computer takes a bit more effort - probably an hour on top of the build time for this set, plus more time on top to construct the video in total. Hope this helps!

    Hi, is the second part of the tree meant to be spinny at the bottom? Mine is, just wondering if it is intentionally designed that way. If yes, would you know why is that so?

  • @Brick2Rick

    @Brick2Rick

    Жыл бұрын

    Hi Trissy the top of the tree is meant to be detachable, presumably making it easier to store when not on display. However the top of the tree does not spin as it is stopped by white flower decorations seen on instruction stage 93. Hope this helps!

    @@beabeez417 Hi I'm not sure how this has happened, mine doesn't seem to rotate - sorry!

  • @Marjoc

    Mine is also spinning. I also thought the white flower construction is meant to stop that, but it just holds the first layer of the upper part of the tree. The rotateable black part is on top of the first layer, though. That way the upper part is loose and can be spinned. Watched this video to check if I did anything wrong. The detach option is ok for me, but spinning the upper part is annoying 😅

    Hi there I managed to pick up two of these sets when they were first released. I think they were £39.99 each which I think represents pretty good value for the amount of Lego you get. Happy building!

    Your mic is way lower than the music used during the build. Had to keep adjusting the sound level. Try to keep them even.
