Pogoda wreszcie sprzyja, świetne projekty, kazdy inny. Ciekawie zaszalał właściciel pomysłu 1 XL motor na każdą oś. Jak wspierać, to wspierać - tzw. "lajk w górę" powędrował ;)

Although having a motor mounted to each axle reduces the complexity and makes the trucks more robust and powerful, I still miss the old trucks with a more complex drivetrain :P Great video regardless :)

Unless I missed something, there's a whopping one single truck with motor in each axle among the six trucks here.

that's true, I was more thinking of the separation between the front axle and the rear axle on most of these trucks

At 3:12 the person has managed to combine ev3 and power functions. That is impressive! I looked into doing that and couldn't see a way that would be reversible and reliable. These trial via do are interesting and full of inspiration as ever.

The way is using Mindstorms IR Link sensor, which has been around for ages and been used this way countless times. I did it years ago, too: kzread.info/dash/bejne/loustslqZZPTkbg.html

Ohh, there are the trial trucks! ^^

I think the reason it looks so sped up is because most offroaders, including the ones many of these are based off, have internal combustion engines, but these are electric and have very good low down torque, so they look like they're shooting off when they start, and because we're used to the ICE powered offroaders, in reality, you'd be a lot slower and careful driving a big truck like that offroad

There is no limit, but power-to-weight ratio is basis for each truck's score.

what kind of tires where those rc truck tires or where they all lego tires

Powiem Ci, że jak na takie ogromne cudeńka, to jeżdżą całkiem nieźle, w dodatku po trudnym terenie. :D *Planuję zbudować jakiś wóz, następnie zamontować w nim odpowiednie motory etc, ale jest jedno pytanie.* CZY UŻYWASZ NORMALNYCH SILNIKÓW I KONTROLERÓW LEGO, CZY MOŻE JAKIŚ INNYCH? Polecasz któreś? ;)

Na filmie widać wyraźnie, że niektórzy używają SBricka, a inni oryginalnego PF od LEGO. Żadna z tych ciężarówek nie jest autorstwa Sariela - czytaj opisy, to nie boli. Z motorów poszukaj PF XL do napędu. Skręt to już większa dowolność - PF Servo, PF M i nawet PF L mogą się nadać.

Niby może i widać, ale ja się na motorach nie znam, więc pytam. ;) Co do opisów to nie zawsze je czytam, po prostu nie zawsze mam ochotę je czytać lub oglądać ciągłe zachęcanie do wejścia na fb i imstagram. ;/

I've built my share of trial vehicles already and got tired of it. Also, 360 video from a truck would probably be extremely shaky.

It's either cheap or good. Xerion wheels are very popular.

@@searme i found some new Xerion wheels on bl for 6 pp. And i already designed the rear axles. Its gonna be a 6x6. But first i want to finish my current model first otherwise i have alot of unfinished builds ;)

Are all LEGO Truck Trials done on dirt? never seen one on sand or mud. ¿Is this done to protect the LEGO motors?

There are sand and mud tracks, just not this time. It depends on the place.

There so slow and jerky but they look amazing

Imagine that right now, all the evil scientists at LEGO are studying these trucks so the company can pulish them as their own product and earn around 800$ per truck beacuse of their complexity. Would be evil af

Unlikely. Closest LEGO ever came to releasing a trial truck was the 42070 and it sucked really, really hard.
