Did you do anything special to connect between these old track pieces and the modern ones, or just accept the bumpiness of the transition?

I just tucked them as close together as I could then just accepted the gap. The train actually didn’t have any trouble with it even on its lowest speed ✅

@@BrickImperial Thanks, I'm going to make two transition pieces from old fashioned beams to the new solid pieces, so I'll have to figure it out on my own ;)
