Personally I think my biggest issue with the goats is how flat they look. Like if lego had just made the faces a bit more three dimensional then I'd be cool with it. That said great review and will definitely be picking this one up

I think Lego did it to be fun and creative and i think it works in that regard :) . It gave me a chuckle when i first saw this set so i made sure to purchase one.

The figures look so COOL! I can't wait for the movie! The thing I'm most excited about is... Thor's fitness plan

I'm glad that they gave Valkyrie a new hairpiece and didn't just reuse Makkari's from Eternals. Just wish Fennec Shand got that treatment too instead of such a blatantly inaccurate hairpiece. Seeing the similarities between this new one's design and that of the hairstyle of Reva's (new Inquisitor from Kenobi) I think there's a chance that they might make a Reva minifigure with this new hairpiece. Great review, although I'll only be buying the smaller Thor set this year and won't be picking this set up due to Star Wars being my main budget allocation

I think the “gold staff” is supposed to be Zeus’s gold lightning bolt which is basically like his mjolnir (it doesn’t look like a lightning bolt and my custom version doesn’t only actually look like a lightning bolt but it can also split in half to make 2 daggers like in the film)

Watched “The Northman” earlier today. Don’t think I’ll be able to look at Viking stuff the same way ever again!! 😂

Honestly, I fell in love with the set when I saw what it was called. I mean, come on, The Goat Boat is an AMAZING name.

Really curious to see this in context with the new movie. As a set it's probably undersized, however for the build itself, it's impressively spacious, and detailed and I like how it's completely brickbuilt. Miniefig selection is also very good, however I think I may just get the smaller set as it's much more budget friendly. may decide otherwise one the movie comes out. Also totally agree about the goats.

I cannot wait for this set! Love the minifigs and build!

Looks like the printing on one of Thor’s legs looks screwed up

Nice review Justin!!! The minifigs are incredible(although Gorr could've been better) and I love how the white goat has his tongue sticking out. I find that hilarious. All in all I give this set a 8/10 and I'll definitely gonna be pickin it up here in the good ol' US of A if I have enough money left over from tax season. lol. Also lovin that new Stormbreaker build. I always thought the previous version looked a bit....erm....tacky, so it's good to see LEGO stepping up their game for accurate-looking builds/molds.

So you're saying that i should just shut up and accept failures and flaws rather than pointing it out and share my opinions about it? i absolutely hate quality control issues and LEGO has a very good QC but they messed up on the print of minifig and that really sucks. If i got that set myself with those bad prints, i would be really angry and disappointed. Not to mention that LEGO sets are so freaking expensive so you should expect the quality to be topnotch and also i have rights to criticize a product

I’m think I’m going to get this and take the goats off and use it as a normal Viking ship

So 2022 is the first year in a long time we're getting 2 long boats? There's 2 goats in this set, 2 Thor's. 2 Thor "hammers" that were made by a giant Peter dinklage. Should I also mention that the Viking age ended about when the bronze age began in 1200? I mean the movie title has 2 nouns died from Thor for Christ's sake. If you were to count falcon in the Winter soldier as part of the Captain America series it would make a Thor the 2nd marvel guy to have more than three movies. Last but not least this is Thor's fourth movie but you can rewrite that as his 2²nd movie

I actually like the brick-built goats. It makes the set even more wacky.

Korg should be a big figure

The boat is gorgeous, figures are marvelous, goats..well they're a stylistic choice. Yeah this is a pretty good set.

That's what I'm doing it, giving him a spare black cloak/hood and cape from either Palpatine or Luke, and adding some constructs of Venom (axe and tendril-like swords) to make him more like comic Gorr.

I have $50 that I am definitely going to use to get this set

Example only: mold cavity/core set damage . If there are no plans to make more of the figure, the rest of the mold may be repurposed with new cavity/core set for new part. Although, I think the goat was a multi-component figure which makes the mold highly specific so there may be other reasons....
