That flip is one of the craziest moving parts Lego has ever done, this set keeps growing on me.

I'm 50 years old and have been a Nintendo-head since the original NES. That said, I didn't really think I wanted this set. After seeing this review, that has changed!?!

I feel like the fact that there are 2064 pieces is a great little Easter egg for the N64

Not a big Lego guy (I'm poor), but this is a must have for me. Grew up playing Mario 64!

I grew up poor and all I had was a Nintendo 64 from a thrift store with Mario 64 so that’s why I like this set so much.

I really love the amount of small details and hidden things they put in the set!!!

I hope lego makes more sets like this

Just finished the build and the set is so awesome. All mechanisms work smoothly and it looks great

Except they totally screwed up by making it a question mark block. That is not anywhere to be found in Super Mario 64.

The best engineers in the world work for lego. This is another masterpiece

Lego could do something like this with Minecraft they could have a grass block open up then have mini versions of existing Minecraft sets

Such a sick set, gotta pick it up at some point. Not the biggest fan of it combining the ?block and Mario 64 levels since it was never in that game, so what I might try is to separate them so I can have both the block and micro worlds on display. I think for a future 18+ set it would be cool to see something like a Gamecube, or more of these micro sets, something like Mario kart and super Mario sunshine

I had so much fun putting it together yesterday/last night, amazing the detail of the levels, looks like I'm a have to get the NES and the mario starter pack

Last time I watched your unboxing now I've bought and built the cube. I love it and will keep it on a shelf permanently. Haven't got a clue about mario even though in 54cand remember Nintendo bringing out the 64 and Mario. Still, I looooove this set.

Ok this set is awesome. Hopefully Lego and Nintendo can keep their partnership going for a while. I would love to see Zelda themed sets or maybe something like a Samus helmet!

Just finished building mine. A little underwhelmed, may be after seeing a lot reviews raving about it. It like when people rave about a movie saying it’s the best ever, then you watch it and come away a little disappointed because you were expecting more. May be also due to a lot of the yellow tiles being slightly different shades, the 2x2 right angle ones in particular. It’s pretty cool though, and glad I got it and I would recommend it.

Bought mine from a local seller for $115. I had to grab it before anybody else get it before me. Lots of good deals from local seller here in Sam Diego. I got my ecto-1 for $120 as well.

When the worlds falls back in to the cube, to me it feels like they fall a little to hard😅 like something could brake

Long shot but I can't find anyone else mentioning this. But the back of my cube won't close all the way. There's always a bit of a gap and I have no idea how to fix it

I also never owned a N64, but I would play mario on n64 when I would go to my friends house. I only recall jumping into the wall frames but that is all I can remember. But I'm also getting this set and it will go next to my NES and the Bowser airship. I do recall Mario Bros 1 & 3 (don't recall ever playing 2) and Super Mario World a lot as I did have the NES and SNES growing up. I want a big Mario riding Yoshi. Same size as Harry and Hermione set

I love this set as well. I just got it and I am still working on it but an amazing set. The NES is also an amazing set. I hope that they eventually do an SNES set or even an N64 set

The bottom being open really upsets me. You want to be able to hand this to someone and have them discover what's inside it. The bottom being open all but destroys the design. I can't believe this oversight exists!

You look like you need to take a long nap Bricksie.

Overusing the word "easter egg" in all your videos, including this one. Easter eggs are hidden surprises spread by word of mouth -- they are not inclusionary within the advertised Lego set. Everything in this set (and most sets you feature on your channel) are included in official Lego footage, therefore they're not easter eggs. Yoshi, for example, is conspicuous, therefore he's not an easter egg. I'll go as far as to say that nothing in this Mario Lego set is an easter egg at all.
