LEGO Studio Update | Finishing the Diorama Table!
Ойын-сауық
In this LEGO studio update I finish building the diorama table! The new surface is 19x7 baseplates and will host a giant medieval scene. In addition to finishing off the table I also discuss some other things that need to happen in the studio and add some Star Wars sets to the displays.

Honestly, as important as the LEGO city is, I think a video dedicated to fixing all of the loose ends around the entire studio would be a very satisfying video to watch! I find it so satisfying to see "check lists" getting completed!

And the Art!!!!!
one thing you could do with the space under the medieval diorama is build extensive dungeons. You had that level of dungeon below the platform at the back of the old city, before you moved the medieval diorama, you could build something like that using the shelve below, with cells, treasuries and monster's dens down below the island that the medieval stuff sits on. there's lots of story telling potential in that.

Could make one of them linked to LOTR.

That's an amazing idea
With the D&D tower - and the upcoming D&D minifigure packs - I'd definitely evolve the medieval diorama into a full fantasy world; knights, wizards, bandits, vikings, pirates. Monsters and ruins, dark overlords and skeleton armies. Lotta potential with the space. Could have a central village, then with various landscaping and smaller settlements around. Though you could also include some in the main city as party of a historical area / ren fair.

Was going to comment to include pirates and vikings but i agree full fantasy. monsters and sea monsters, maybe a volcano, the old monster fighter sets
Just do an "odds and ends" day. Hang the bathroom stuff, fix vader, fix the AT-AT... etc.
Hockey stick tape: the most Canadian solution ever.
2 Factions at war. 2 giant Casltes with thier own towns and Army. Create a giant battlefield in the middle of the 2 Castles.

Yes this is the way, game of thrones it
Very impressed by how much you have gotten done in a few months! I'm proud to be a spectator of all this 😊
you could do under water scenes in the cabinet
As a Canadian, aren't you legally required to have a roll of stick tape in your car at all times?
Now that the medieval sets are taken care of, I don't mind seeing a video where you check off things in the to do list like fixing the bathroom, fixing sets, fixing the wood pile, creating platforms, building a backlog of sets and organizing the studio to take breaks from the lego city.

How did you forget hanging the artwork? It's a popular one in the comments lol. But I love your video idea. I think in reality he will always have a long to do list.

@@juliana22 no doubt about it that I would love to see him do that. But he always mentions doing it with Jose because he needs a second person and artistic direction but since she's fresh off two surgeries, I don't think it will be done anytime soon as it takes time to recover. Will be waiting for it though! Definitely a lot of things need to be done, but doing some of them gradually will prevent him from being overwhelmed and see it as procrasting.
You should build two kingdoms on either side , and a giant battleground in the middle. Put each village behind a giant wall and build them on a hill. The valley in between is under contention!
When you build the mountain area, you could build it over/around one of the access holes so you can stand up into it like a peep hole 😂
I’m glad that I can just look forward to These videos each morning
I think you got so excited about the lego city and working on the lego city that you put the other things that need to get done on the back burner and I think you would be happier and have that relief if you were to finish all of it. Look at it this way you are waiting for part for the lego city so why not finish the other projects while you wait.
I personally think Barad Dur & Rivendell would fit quite well on the fantasy table.
Would love to see one of the castles on the top of a cliff with shore and caves under it. You could set up stories with armies leaving the castle on the cliff and heading to a large battlefield in the middle of the diorama table.

This is exactly what I was thinking! He could then have a medieval/viking ship just off the shore being attacked by a giant squid! Raise the whole medieval scene and have the entire thing surrounded by cliff faces and shorelines!
Anyone excited for the Jaws set?

Just when i got out, they pulled me back in..
need to have a lake in the middle of the island with the lady in the lake with excalibur ;)
8 cabinets, bricksie is 8 letters, do a faceplate in each with dots recreating the bricksie sign so when you look down from the mezzanine across the citie you see the bricksie branding
Your Medieval Island Diorama Table is fantastic! It would be amazing to see the side facing the Lego City transformed into a large, curved lagoon. Imagine the possibilities of adding some pirates into the mix! Keep up the great work!
Coming along nicely with the city and diorama table. The diorama table would be cool as a "History Island" where castles, vikings, and pirates are found on different parts of the island. It could also be visited by tourists from the city if you so pleased. Keep up the great work Jordan!
A suggestion for the empty spaces under the castle stuff...the individual art pieces would fit in there pretty well as a stopgap.
You should definitely add a suspension bridge connecting the diorama table to the city, maybe even if you’re set with the medieval you could do half of a medieval bridge and half of a modern city bridge
Do a field with a battle
Underneath the diorama you could put underwater scenes in the cabinets.....also what happened to the jail that was under the Castle in the old city
I am fascinated with everything you are doing with the new LEGO space. It is great. I think all the displays in the shelves would look even better with printed backgrounds. For example the Star Wars displays could have Tatooine, Hoth, or Death Star backgrounds prints and attached to the back of the shelves. If you have loads of extra time and bricks, you can build the backgrounds with bricks! Plus I would suggest some lighting for each shelf to really highlight them! It will look even better than the Lego Store!!
That diorama space should be a series of islands. You could call it the Archipelago.
You should really do a doubled up Lion-knights castle... That would look epic😮😃
Good to see you have that finished the diorama table now and got everything from the ground. Now every day you can choose what to work on and not do the same work every day of the week. But do focus on making nice what you have now. And after that extend nice place with whatever you want to add to it. So enjoy! We will do the same! 😃👍
Beautiful progress on your city and medical layout, well done, you also have more space in your city for future sets, keep on inspiring us as lego collectors and city builders
Should hang a white board with a to do list on it like doing the edges, bathroom, hang art so you dont keep forgetting
At home depot you can get a strip of white adhesive material you can put on the edges of malemine.
Seeing the room from the long view, with the city, I love the cloud mural even more!
What would be crazy but cool is put a parking lot there and build a giant Lego bridge to the city and make it a medieval village fair thing
It looks like the academy award statuette.
Instead of using tape on the edge of the city, wrap the city in curtains to hide the legs, then move it lower when you add the subway.
You should Build the Mideval theme with a castle on both ends with towns and a huge seige or war in the middle
Could you link the two spaces with a bridge and train? That way the diorama island becomes linked to the city and could be treated as a tourist attraction or even a tudor village extension.
To move a mountain you need to pick up the stones 😂 so sort that bathroom out, hang the art and clear those wooden boards from by the stairs.
I thought the bricksie would look great hanging right at the back, maybe from the celing so it looks like its floating in the clouds
Awesome!!!
Yay bricksie
Listening to you talk about melamine reminds me of that song lyric “got my mind on my melamine and my melamine on my mind!”
You should show the sets on the shelves more often like you did in this video, but the general Lego sets
Yay! So excited to see the Medieval area take shape!
You need to put Rivendell in the medieval section
@19:56 cutting more baseplates?? 😵... oh, was just kidding? whew! ☺
21:37 It would be cool if somewhere at the highest point of the terrain is like a cave enterble from the waterside with a small ship inside of it with docks and places to stay hidden away from the land! :O Maybe a spot somewhere with a huge battle going on with destroyed landscape and many soldiers on horses and canons boom bang stuff going on.. Man someday it would be my dream to play with Lego like you do! :D
Awesome video
Maybe you could use the cabinet empty space under the diorama for the lord of the rings sets because that would fit the theme but that's just an idea Overall can't wait to see how it will turn out
Would totally recommend getting the subway platforms and any raised platforms installed while you still have the saw there. Also gives you something to do while you wait for parts.
Please add the medieval battle you kept promising in the olddiorama
In your medieval diorama , you have 8 free slots under the table! Why not build a B with Lego in the first and then R in the next until you got your name BRICKSIE, would look good when you film like you did today!
I wonder if Rivendall and Burad- Dur LOTR sets would look good in the Diorama , I know you want more custom , just an idea
On the dio table, since you shifted the melamine, one side only has a small bit of support. You'll want to add a support leg under each sheet (two under the big one) so it spreads the weight. Wouldn't want to go in one day and see the medieval area on the floor.
Since it’s kinda midieval you could put Barad Dur on the diorama table along with orthang and Rivendell Only con I see for now is the open back on each set though :(
pls fix the board pointing to the staircase it hurts my brain 😖
I don’t know if this has been mentioned at all or if it’s even necessary but what if you built some sorta crank and pulley platform for getting Lego builds and Lego bins up and down instead of carrying them up and down the stairs
I'm so excited to see your medieval diorama. You have so much going on and it's mind-boggling😂 and i love it!
I think you should've built more table and increased your ocean and beach and then you could've built you island and then did your knights and more.
Personal opinion, but I think the medieval tables with the under cabinets take away visually from the large lego city. Personally, not a fan
Having 3-4 castles on a build surface that size... plus the D&D set and Viking village... will let you put some more distance between the castles... and if you have a second Lion Knights Castle set, there's a MOC (possibly on Rebrickable iirc) that uses two of them, if you feel like rebuilding that set. I'm planning on a medieval display that I'd love to be as big as the medieval space you have... but more realistically it will be about half that size. I need to get a few of the recent medieval village sets and a couple of the Viking village sets before I'm ready to start building, though.
Castles 1 side, water in middle and vikings on other side with ships battling in the sea would look good
Yes lol all the free time you have lol tfs
pocket 3 camera new medieval diorama cabinets look awesome 🍕
You should do pirates on there too
oh my god, imagine the evil duo Grievous and C-3PO ruling the galaxy.
You could use the extra melamine to create removable ends so you could use the space for closed storage.
Leave some open space for a medieval battle field, the hard part will be determining what factions to use. Made have some dragons flying overhead. The diorama table looks great separate from the main city.
Tell me you're Canadian without saying it aloud: "I'm going to use hockey stick tape..." LOL (Jokes aside, a brilliant choice and loads cheaper than edge banding woutd cost!)
Jordan Great My Friend best greetings from Berlin 👍🙏
Why not pay someone to just hang the artwork and finish toilet area, small cost and your time better spent on lego 😊
Hi there have u ever thought of having two Kingdom's both ends then in between the sea one side so u could get ships fighting each other then the other side u could get men fighting on land and have dragons flying around but it looks great.x
C-3PO looks really really good
just a idea but have you thought about moulded mdf trim for around the edge of the diorama
your lego city is worth more than my house
Do make a t-shirt. «Get the Lego up off the ground!»
What’s the over/under for when the mid evil table gets replaced by city tables! Great looking city!
Have you considered putting the Lego Lord of the rings Rivendell set into the area?
Maybe just take a break (rest) from the Lego for a few days and get all the decor/ fixtures sorted, you’ll feel better not having those little details hanging in the back of your mind. Tidy room = Tidy mind
The 25th anniversary r2d2 also came with a mini fig !
Look good

Feel better
Have you thought about making the medieval part of your build into a renaissance fair, it could tie in with the city better.
You could do an anchor pirate ship there.
Iif you do a cove of some sort on the diorama table with ships in it would look good
Where are you going to put your winter village or are you not going to have one anymore?
You should get Simon to rebuild sets that need care.
I so hope that you are planning a underwater seen with the subway, or in one of the boxes under the diorama unit. another thought medevil dungeon seen
Take one day to hang the bathroom stuff and lego art.
I give it one year before it’s at capacity
Were those Mega sets I spied? 🔍
Jordan! What happened to the multicolored led lighting around the ceiling???
mayby you could hang a whiteboard somewhere and write little things you need to do or get on it so you don't forget them
the water would make it look like it is offshore of the lego city!
will be in future a lego stream
Hey I was wondering why your not putting the cabinets back to back so wouldn’t need the legs in the middle
@joce1275

Cause then there would be less space for Lego 😂
All sawz on Sunday
Waouh this enw diorama table with cabinets is SO cool, will you close the sides with others cabinets ?
It would be good to have a big battle display something out of game of thrones or lord of the rings type thing
What about the castles in your other room?
