LEGO Star Wars UCS X-Wing Starfighter Review - Looks Great, Feels Fragile

Hello and welcome to this review of the all new 2023 LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series X-Wing Starfighter. This is set 75355, was released May 4th, 2023, contains 1949 pieces, and costs $249. As with most UCS sets, we get very few minifigures, but the new version of this Luke Skywalker in rebel pilot outfit is very nice and the inclusion of R2-D2, back printing and all, is a nice, albeit necessary addition. This ship is impressively large, highly detailed, and has lots of parts worth complaining about, so let's get started!

Before you say anything, R2 isn't facing backwards. He's just covering my 6 like any good copilot would.
Nostalgia gives us flimsy stands and too easily detached parts, but you look nice so we got that.

Having it right next to the A-Wing and Y-Wing looks really good. That being said… I don’t have those.. and if I got this… I know I’m going to go back and get those… that being said… you made it very tempting… that being said… I asked Venus… and she said “no!”

Those were more affordable UCS sets back in the day. I don't even want to look up their cost now. I still have to get a B-Wing to complete the collection.

I got it, it’s an awesome set! I love the mini figs and printed pieces! The size is amazing too! It looks great displayed on my shelf!

I don't care too much for the set, but this is both the best and funniest review I've ever seen! Got to check out some things I consider buying, perhaps less rebellious and more imperial. 🙃

I've considered digging into the geology genre for a clean slate since rocks make for fun puns, but I think the pressure would be too high and I have too many faults.
