LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy (GBA) Retrospective | Here We Go Again...

Ойындар

Oh, they fixed it. LEGO Star Wars had a pretty rough GBA port, not to say the game needed to carry over every mechanic from the console port, just that uh, it probably could have borrowed a little more to be less clunky and frustrating. LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy’s port does exactly that, built on the same engine as the prior, it cleans up nicely with the LEGO death system, dropping studs on defeat and having a chance to regather them, a proper free play, Extras including invincibility, the removal of the force meter, and even minikits, which bring it much closer to the main game. Griptonite did not develop this one, and few people involved in the first worked directly on it, despite a number of shared assets and working from the same base, instead being handled by Amaze Entertainment, which shared office space with Griptonite, and Griptonite would eventually be purchased by Amaze’s parent company, merged together, and eventually died in 2009, as handheld versions of console games fell out of market relevance

Ive been getting tired playing the console versions of these games and found myself enjoying a lot the challenge from the first game and loving the simplicity of the 2nd game. I am going through a lot of exams rn and those games just hit the right amount of fun when im stressed. I feel like these games arent loved enough personnally. Loved the review and i cant wait to see more from you. Great video and i dont regret clicking on it🙂💪

they're cute little things. I also often miss the simplicity of the first set of LRGO games pretty often, the newer ones are a bit all over, even when I enjoy them 😅

The interface is how you can tell that it was played on the Game Boy Player, meaning that both the GBA & NGC versions are playable on the GameCube.

Easiest way to record! Also we loved the gameboy player back in the day, definitely got a lot of use back then!
