While I don't collect the helmet sets, this does look pretty damn good. Lego Star Wars is looking very promising in 2023, can't wait to see those Mandalorian season 3 sets.

I have been hesitant about actually buying any of the helmets so far because of not having any minifigures in the sets, but this on is a MUST HAVE! Rex is my favorite Clone trooper and honestly one of my favorite SW characters period so I will definitely, DEFINITELY be picking this one up! Fantastic review, you sealed the deal on my getting the first installment in my personal helmet collection!

I haven’t bought any of the helmet sets either but I will definitely be buying this and luckily I have the Phase 2 Captain Rex figure to display right along side of this awesome set

@@qui-gonjin4371 Sweet! I also am lucky enough to have gotten the amazing phase 2 captain Rex when he originally came out, so yes he would go perfectly alongside the helmet!

You're right, it does look way better in person. I was worried it'd look like that ugly Stormtrooper one but it looks really good.

I've always been very cynical towards this line. None of the helmets looked good enough to be worth 60 bucks, imo. But all the ones in this wave look incredible proportion-wise and I would definitely display them around my house.

I wasn't sure about these Lego helmets until I saw them in person at a friend's house. They look so much better irl, and the Rex helmet looks to be the best one so far.

Rewatched season 7 this week and man. We need more rex!!! Hope we get a spin off animated show with him and his blue Y wing in a lego set

It definitely looks better built in the video than on the box.

I’m glad I have every helmet set still boxed, I think it’s a great Lego series and they look great on display with Star Wars book ends, this years sets are awesome!

For me this kinda confirms that we will be getting a captain Rex minifigure this or next year, we got Cody last year and there are rumors of the bounty hunter helmet and that is apparently going to be in the Jabba set so it would make sense

Never got into the helmets but I'll definitely pick theses up

The helmet is great, just that the mouth is really small.. and unfortunately for this helmet but this counts for us people too, the mouth is one of the most important thing on the face. Everything else can be perfect but if the mouth is wrong it will make everything else look worse by default. It will probably be a decently easy fix to make that look better and its lego so that is easily done. I much rather wouldve seen a regular phase 2 clone or p2 501st helmet before they did rex.. same for cody much rather wouldve seen a regular phase 1 helmet before a cody one

Seeing a Rex and Cody helmet shows to me that lego Star Wars at least kinda cares about animation fans. These are must have for any clone wars fans and I’ll definitely get the rex one

The mouth isn't perfect but I'm not sure how they could have extended the tips down using existing pieces. Overall it's far from a disappointment.

I absolutely love this!! I just wish it came with the mini figure.

The helmet looks fantastic overall, especially in the coloring and shaping. My only grip is the mouthpiece being so short. Does anyone know if it's possible to mod this set to have a 1x1 tile in between the 2 mouth-pieces . If possible, that may just be enough to fix it.

Rex's helmet is a hybrid of the two different phases of the clone helmets. So I wouldn't be the only one interested in a video showing how to rebuild Rex's helmet into a standard phase II helmet. You could even build your own clone helmet with additional colored bricks!

Am I seeing things or are there really some extra white wedge pieces in front of his printed "mouth" section in some shots? 🤔 Because on the box they don't show them...

I think we might because in skywalker saga they added him with a range finder that has the holes for it above where they actually connect to like with the new 212th figures but in skywalker saga there are helmets of phase 2 armour on the venator where the range finder is where it’s meant to be and Cody hasn’t got the holes in the game and wasn’t based of the figure it is some pretty good proof but don’t get your hopes up

I definitely enjoyed building the rex one more than the cody one. I don't care for the side flaps that might on the cody one. I feel that they both should have been less protruding, more smooth and succinct along the bottoms of both.

Really great set, however i think the mouthpiece should have been much bigger. Should be a bit more like the Cody helmet. Similar issue compared to Vaders helmet

This looks great, and I would love a UCS Venator (but not the size of the ISD - which is awesome) - but a size that actually fits in most peoples houses and shelves. Those sticker colours are off - love Lego, but they need to up their sticker game or when this ugly, make them printed.
