The Brick Search app is definitely the way to go! I'm 4/4 with it so far, and probably will only go for 2 more; so like you, I only care for half the series. Glad I didn't use the $50 voucher I can pull from LEGO on 2 boxes!

Good that you’ve got all the vintage space throwbacks. LEGO knew people were taking advantage of the 6 packs so instead of dividing the 12 CMFs into 2 boxes they divided the 12 by 3 and had some CMFs crossover into different 6 packs. Now they’re just promising 6 different CMFs per 6 pack to get you to spend more money for a complete set

I got a whole set from 2 boxes, so I'm not sure that is true.

@@XTRABRIX it is true. You would have “lucked up” and got 2 boxes where the 6 different figs per box culminated in a complete set. It can still be done but the chances are lower now

I'm surprised that Lego is not offering a 12-pack case in the US yet, like they have overseas. That would solve your issue. The bug type alien is a Beetlezoid, an addition to the Galaxy Squad bug type aliens. Seems odd that if Lego can be certain to not have any duplicates in one box, that there would be more than two types of boxes. But alas you learned that the hard way. Good luck tracking down the Space Walker, its a wonderful figure.

Scanning the code is the way to go

For the sake of research, I wonder if the number on the clear tape was the same or not? I got my 6-packs from Lego and they were all the same number, and it worked out for me. Mine were all marked 11R4.

As far as I know, there was no change from previous series. They have always said no repeats within the box. They never said two 6-packs would make a full set. Scanning works perfectly, plus I have not seen stuff ripped open locally.

I got a full set in 4 days. Never got them so fast.

I have yet to buy the 6 pack Boxes to see if I could get the set, However, I have used the Brick Search app in my local Walmart an gotten 3 Retro Space Heroine, 1 Alien Beetlezoid, an 1 Alien tourist, I still want find the Blacktron Mutant as well as extra's of the M Tron figure for the Claw pack an parts, and in addition to extra of the Ice Planet figure..

Problem with these codes is, they make it to easy to find the ones you want. So my now probably every single interesting one is already plundered - at least that was my experience with series 25. Still haven't seen the new ones in any store around here.

I bought 4 boxes and still needed one figure and just bought on ebay. I have many extra of the one you need if you want one I can send you one for cost. Let me know. I've bought from your bricklink many times.

HeybJaabo I’ve seen boxes of 12 for the previous two CMFs here in the UK, so one would imagine that LEGO will offer the same with these Space figures? I used the code scanner on Falcon Bricks website when I was in the LEGO store. It seemed faster than the one that most folk use, and it was accurate too! My favourite is the flying saucer guy!

I used the Brick Search app and got 6 mtron, 6 blacktron, 4 ice planet, 5 space walkers and 4 baby mommas. And last night I went to the LEGO store and got a bunch of the city space minifigures that are in the BAM bins. 🙂
