fun fact: if you dont know what type of engine the Polar Express is its a "N-1" 2-8-4 "Berkshire" type steam locomotive built in October 1941 for the Pere Marquette Railway by Lima Locomotive Works.

For your first Lego Train build, it looks great! My only critique about it is the lack of proper magnetic couplings as used on the modern lego city trains. Hope to see more like this one day!

The boiler isn't round enough (the big cylinder on the front), there is only 1 smokestack called "the funnel" meaning the rest are just safety valves, the wheel rods on the side of the wheels are way off (they're what push the train), there are no cylinders in front of the wheels (they're what push the wheel rods, the fence on the front is way off, and the locomotive roof was black. The end carriage is called the observation car, and only the kid who looks like annikan skywalker has a name- "Billy". Now you know.

The kid that looks like young anakin is called Billy but the rest of the names are unknown. So people just call them hero boy, hero girl, know it all, ect.

The one thing I should correct you with is that, despite commonly being called the Coal Car, the tender doesn't JUST have coal in it. It's also designed to hold extra water that the locomotive uses to create steam, which it runs on. That's why it's called a STEAM locomotive. Also, the hobo didn't have hot chocolate. It was a "cup of joe", aka Coffee.

One thing I must say is the polar express isn’t a 4-6-0, but a 2-8-4 Berkshire, not to be annoying.

Bruh, the Polar Express AKA the Pere Marquette has a 2-8-4 Berkshire wheel arrangement. You built a locomotive with a 4-6-0 arrangement. (Sorry for being a train buff)

You must be loony if you think those are acceptable side rods. They’re an atrocious excuse like the Hogwarts Express.

He did say that it was his first time making trains so that would be the correct wheel configuration but lego is kind of hard to do a 2-8-4

all i know is that anikan looking one is cald billy 👍

Love the way you used the hogwarts express, but you forgot both the bell in front of the smokestack and the headlight on the smoke box door. Otherwise great job!

tenders are also used for holding water

The main character is literally named "Hero Boy" in the credits. Great moc though, I've always wanted to make a locomotive so this is great inspiration.
