I like to think it's actually part of the mech. Cole drives around in it, and when he parks it he flips out the kickstand. Face it: Ninjago is a series where a mono wheel giant mech would have a kickstand

I don't own any myself but from what I saw I am highly impressed with the double rigid joints they have been using on the Ninjago movie mechs. I mean using two ratchet joints for the roll and an AT-AT hinge for the pitch was inspired by the Fire mech's hips. same goes for the turntable shoulders that use friction gears. i wonder if they will develope a new kind of friction/ratchet joint for these foot tall models.

Looks great how it stands like that, the mechanism is genius. Edit: the mech looks likes a samurai with the flags and the horns on the helmet.

That kickstand is actually pretty smart IMO

For Misako/Lady Iron Dragon, I think they should have also included a Sword that Lloyd/Green Ninja uses.

This impressed me so much more than I thought! I love the way that the single when is done.

Just want to point out how Closed Caption translates "Garmadon" as "Carbon Don". I'm not sure why, but I find that hilarious.

I know this is an old video but I believe the face is always that green from what I've heard..

The Lady Iron Dragon face is a bummer, was totally looking forward to her! Mine has a faded face too!

Nice surprise to see this review pop up, was really excited to see how it works out

You actually don’t need the kick stand this huge mech can stand in its fist like in the movie

I think Lady Iron Dragon's head is just fine. The black around her face is meant to be a wrap-around mask, and I personally believe it looks appropriate to me. Nevertheless, this is still a solid review for a solid mech. :)

It's not the fact that there's black around her face, it's that they didn't use enough paint/ink in the print to make the actual exposed-face part actually look properly yellow.

the issue isn't the black around the face, it's that the yellow paint was printed too thin so the black comes through too much. it looks too unlike the colour of the hands, almost as if it's a dark yellow, but we know it's not

The reason it is about as tall as Kai's Mech is because in the movie they are both about the same height

my fave set of all time

All these Ninjago sets are greater for displaying i feel.

Hey, I'm in total agreement. I'm 26 and love these things! I own Lloyd's dragon but intend to get the rest of the mechs before they're retired.

That quiver looks like a Brickarms and/or Brickforge accessory.

Probably Misako's face was dark because the sidw are black so when yellow and black mixed together. So thats why it's face darker

So glad I got this for $62 from a toy warehouse. Now I wait for a week for delivery...

The head print reminds me of the original Jango Fett minifig, it needed the black head to show through the visor, but the face print suffered for that reason

You know..when I first saw that minifigure with the microphone, I could've sworn it was meant to be Lou, Cole's father in the show O_o looks so much like him. Similar to how Jays parents are with his movie set.

Looks like they took some inspiration from the Doof Wagon seen in Mad Mad Fury Road.

The vinyl pieces at 6:05 totally tricked me at first - I was all excited for an actual moulded record piece but then I realized it was just a sticker on a round tile. Really good effect though, very convincing for a lego sticker!

Iron dragon Misako is one of the best minifigures I have seen for a while.

Hey jang have you ever done a tip test and the set tipped over?

You can grab coles mech by its kickstand

YAS coles vehicle is my favorite

Some cool building techniques, like the shoulder gears friction, but Lego should’ve made the kickstand out of translucent pieces. Cole’s legs printing looks really bad, as does Lady Iron Dragon’s face. Can you make the whole mech move like a gorilla? Using its giant knuckles?

I can imagine you building it last night, too tired to post so today you got up an hour early to do it, such an unusual upload time for you

This looked bad by seing the pictures but it looks better when looking it in person

I looked it up, I think itll retail for 90, which is a great deal IMO

I'd love to see what the Misako minifig would look like with her regular head. Might be a nice compromise if all the Misakos from this set end up looking as awful as this one.

I’m happy with this set because the arms can’t fall down but when I purchased the fire mech whenever I pull the arms up they fall back down. So I’d say that this has way better articulation. I hope when I get Misako that face won’t look green and disgusting. I agree with you thinking that it’s just a printing problem. The Quake mech is an awesome set and I’d rate it an 8/10.

It would be almost better to use a normal face for misako Or imagine a duel molded head
