Who is The Fold? Not only is this band responsible for the massively popular LEGO Ninjago theme song "The Weekend Whip", but a brand at the top of their game in 2024! Starting out on Tooth & Nail Records, the group spun a failed 2009 album tour into a comical commentary on the current state of the music business with it’s viral smash hit “Every Band in the USA.” (KZread). From then on, the band decided to just be REAL w their fans. Having just surpassed 200,000 subscribers, they are very in tune with their niche fanbase, many of which discovered the band through their Lego Ninjago' hit entitled "The Weekend Whip", and are just discovering the bounty of music The Fold has built over these past two decades.

I came back here again, listening to the ghost whip over & over like i did back in 2015-16, thinking how good my childhood truly was... this is one of the most important pieces of music to me. ninjago was created when i was 1 and i will be 12 here soon. this show has been here for me all my life, when my parents split, when my mom and her old boyfriend fought, it has always comforted me. now that it has ended it feels like a part of me is missing, I was always so excited for a new season, wondering who the new menace was, same thing for season 16... little did i know it was the end of if..... ninjago will always hold a special place in all our hearts and no matter what, we will never quit because... NINJA NEVER QUIT!

This theme is just an absolute bop. In my opinion the best season, Morro was great, coles part was sad, I liked how it wraps up, feels like a complete story and was the one the writers wanted.

Can't believe it's been more than 5 years since this song came out. It feels like yesterday when I remember watching the episodes on Cartoon Network, watching excitedly to find out what would happen next. Now it's October of 2020. Just went to a haunted house for the second time of my life yesterday and was listening furiously to this song before and after. I'm 13 years old, 14 in December, and I can't wait for season 14 to come out next year in 2021. I've been watching this show since 2011/2012, and it never fails to disappoint or entertain! This series was, and, still is my childhood. Thank you, The Fold, for creating each and every one of Ninjago's Whips/songs. I recently got even more obsessed with Ninjago a few months ago, and now the Whips are just about the only songs I listen to at the moment. Thank you all. ♡

Same bro, i remember watching the first episode of possession when i came home from swimming, and it was the best vibe. It was in fall 2015, and that was one of the best years in my life. I was so excited for what will happen in this season, and the scary halloween vibe was the best. And i also remember watching the first pilot episode of ninjago when i was in kindergarden. Those good old days just are the best :D

The new seasons are ass. In my opinion after this one the show just goes downhill. 💀
I'm 18 rn and this track in particular hits the hardest 🔥
This is clearly the best season in my opinion. I love Possession and the suits same goes for Season 4. I remember watching Ninjago to this day. The memories are still inside my brain. Long live Ninjago.
Season 6 has been confirmed! Thumbs up if you're already ready to jump up, kick back, whip around, and spin, and then jump back to do it ALL OVER AGAIN. ^^

The show peaked here Season 5 was so good
This is the best opening and music in the show, this is the season I truly realized ninjago was a true masterpiece

I will never forget "ninjago". I started watching it when I was a little 3-year-old boy (the year the pilot season was released). Now I'm 15, and I still believe that ninjago is the best and most unique lego creation that no one and nothing will surpass. After season 7, "ninjago" noticeably went somewhere in the other direction of development, it did not begin to degrade, but the narrative became a little different. Although I haven't watched the final seasons and I don't know how it ended yet, since season 5 is currently underway (therefore, I came here because of this lol), but I'm glad that ninjago got its long-awaited finale and didn't turn into garbage like SpongeBob. Stay children, because childhood happens once, and such a revolutionary lego animated series also happens only once. 😔
I'm 21 years old and I still like the Ninjago series, also this song is so epic. 😃👍

In France for a few months before they are available on Netflix, the new seasons of ninjago are only available on a particular platform: okoo, which is basically a platform for children. The most popular series is obviously Ninjago and the average age of viewers is over 16 years old. I am very proud and happy to know that I am not the only “big kid”. Thank you very much for all these seasons, these openings and these awesome remixes

I can’t even remember how long it’s been since I last watched Ninjago, turning 17 soon and I can’t believe the show is still going on! still go back to this intro after all these years for the pure feeling of nostalgia. Those summer days with me and my iPad in the living room binging Ninjago all day with not a worry in the world will forever be missed. Saving up every penny I had to buy the newest Lego set, replaying every Ninjago theme song, playing with my friends outside in Ninja outfits and play swords will be a memory I will always look back too. Thank you Ninjago and thank you guys for making my childhood songs and the greatest nostalgia feeling in the world!

Well I'm feeling nostalgic. Haven't kept up with this show in years but it holds a special place in my heart. This was one of my favorite shows as a kid. I'm 21 now, but this show was a big part of my childhood. I remember being so excited about it. I remember writing awful songs about it in my journal, inspired by this band. I remember having some of The Fold's music as my alarm every morning. This show will always be very special to me, and this band will always be special to me.

I can’t believe this song is 7 years old now. Season 5 was probably my favorite season. It makes me so sad that Ninjago is probably going to finally end. Season 16 was announced to be the last season. Apparently from what I’ve heard there will be a new ninja team. No ninja team could replace the originals. The original ninjago team will always have a special place in my heart. Ninja go!
