when this set was announced i loved it but was frustrated it wasn’t modular. I bought it anyway because i thought there was a good chance you’d come up with a design for it - this will definitely be my next project! thank you for all your work, i’ve built several of your designs and will continue to 😊

Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy building this one like the other MOCs 😊
Nice design! It's impressive that you were able to get so much out of just 1 set! I always end up using a 2nd, and I still end up using my own pieces! That alt museum build is really cool, too! 🙂

Thank you. I always try to manage the resources of 1 set first so it will be easier for others to build.
I just finished building the set today. Really like it. Love the new pieces and building techniques. I intend to make it into a half baseplate modular, but I think it will add some extra pieces to make it a bit roomier. The one thing I “don’t like “ about the set is all the loose pieces….like the food items and some flower pieces. I went to move the set and bumped the desk and all the loose pieces went flying….under the desk, under tables, etc, it was a mess and took awhile to rectify. Anything that can’t be connected will not be used from now on.

Yes, those noodle pieces are nice but they definitely have to be placed on studs and not on the bowls. 😄
I’ve never used a program before building. Seems amazing to do. Your new Moc is nice too.

Love the details in the inside. Reminds me of a place in Chicago’s China Town.

Thank you. It’s a fun software to use. It takes a bit of time to learn but it’s good once you get the hang of it
As an alternate build I feel this is brilliant!!! You were able to preserve a ton of the main features from the original set!!! And the facade appeal is fantastic!!! I actually made a MOC based on the set! I would love for you to check it out and hear what you think!!! Again, fantastic work here!!! 🤩🤩🤩

thank you 😊
This looks so great!
This is great, I’m planning to do something similar but making it corner, basically I’ll probably reverse what you used as back as side n vica versa, but I’m really hellbent on figuring out the double door corner facade lol

Thank you 😊
Will this line up at the same height as other Modular’s baseplate wise?

If you build it directly on a baseplate rather than the plates that come with the set, then it will line up with the other modulars.

@@brickartisanthank you so much! I had a copy purchased and was waiting for a modular option to be released. Excited to build this
I hate that Lego sales half buildings
