I feel in the minority for loving the Crafting Box 3, but I think that's because I wanted a very standard house set haha. Loving the colour pops on this latest one

ah , it seems the rumbler of tumbler gaming has been keeping up with the custom lego world

I like how down to earth this feels, I think we sometimes forget that not every child gets the entire wave of sets. Most are lucky just to get one. So I think it's good to see some sets that aren't super specific and wild all the time. So if this was 40-50$ I think it would be perfect.

Great insight, I could not agree more. I grew up with very little and even the smallest sets made a big impact on me growing up.

Love the cat theme! Always had an affinity with cats in the real world, but unfortunately I am allergic! Really enjoying collecting the many variants of these little plastic kitties! (even the orange one...what? That was a fox??...whatever...) I think people shouldn't be too hard on the set for including a Steve & Alex minifigure, along with the creeper and zombie combo. For some people this might be their first Lego Mincraft set ever, so getting these classic figures will be essential. For the rest of us, the hardened collectors, this might just be our 60th Steve minifigure...oh well! I've collected all the sets from the beginning (including some duplicates) and I often wonder how many Steves I have laying around. A Steve army is surely rising!

That fox was really something. The cat head piece just did not work for the fox.

I feel like the crafting boxes all should’ve been a theme set, like the first one being your first Minecraft day, the 2 and 3 don’t fit a category, but I think it is coming back as this crafting box is being fitted into a cat theme. I feel like we should get a cave themed crafting-box next.

Crafting box are made to be like a player hourse or base and in normal sets you can get caves

Crafting box 2.0 was definitely the peak with these sets. Love the new sheep and that’s probably the only reason I’d get it.

Great review Caleb! We're one step closer to getting all of the different sheep!! I think this is a great set, good part pack for making Warped tree "leaves" for example. Would've been cool if Player Skins were included, at the least Steve could've been replaced. The price though is just bonkers.

What I really love about this set is all the vibrant colours! And the new sheep colour

Quite a rocky price but for the cyan sheep and cats I see this as success especially after crafting box 3.0 . I don’t dislike the 3.0 crafting box but with new mobs and common figures there’s no reason to pick it up whereas with a more charming build and new figures I see this set as a bigger success though I do agree that i should include more basic bricks for terraforming

I wonder if there will be a slime house since all the need is a big green cube.

I might have to pick up this set just for the cats it comes with. I have also been needing more houses/bases for my lego minecraft world so this is just perfect for me.

One weird thing I noticed about this set is that it comes with both a creeper and a cat. But in the game, cats actually scare away creepers!

Suggestion: perhaps if we do get all 16 magnificent sheep colors, you can build a flower forest with all the elusive shoops living in secret…

I would do mostly bright green but put some lime green pips interspersed so it looks more detailed

I wasn't collecting Minecraft lego when the first Crafting Box came out, so can't judge that one. Two had a cool concept with the modules but the colors were kinda drab. Lots of brown and tan. Three I like a lot because it comes with a lot of grey and is great for terrain or a simple villager house. Number 4 is very colorful, but I don't see myself buying it. Too many bricks that I don't see a use for as of yet.

This video shows the selection of cats up to date. We have: New Brown Grey Orange Black White and black mix White, orange and black mix Uh, The Purple one? 100% not a CaL reference. Idk where that color came from. Does it appear in real Minecraft?

Probably my favorite of the line due to the cat house build but sheesh is it ever over priced! Like this looks like a $60 build and honestly I don't think it needed to be under the Crafting Box sub-theme as the tower build doesn't really stand out much.

Me and my girlfriend love to build Minecraft legos together, it's our little hobby we do together. While I know building this super cute and fun looking set would be awesome, that $80 price tag is gutting me a little...maybe we can split the cost
