I think now would be the best time for Lego to give us a Venom BigFig. Since the new Big Figures have now studs on their back, we would be able to attach some Venom Tentacles. It would look great!

You know what would have been cooler than Venom? Riot, or Scream. Rhino would have been perfect for a mech in the Spider-Man universe. But no, it's always Venom.

If the mech was reversed and it was Miles. Maybe. But Riot and Scream would not sell. Rhino is beyond perfect. Not sure why it hasn’t happened

@@Ashnflash I have to disagree with the first part. Considering those characters have been in recent spider Man media, they would have a sense of relevancy to kids and adults. Additionally, some fans like myself have been disappointed that Lego hasn't been giving villains who are relevant minifigures. I guarantee you people would love to get minifigures of kingpin, prowler, kraven, the spot, tombstone, or other characters from games or movies who haven't been given minifigures often or at all.

@@JustSayin2216 These mechs are for children. What media has Riot and Scream been in where someone would know them by name and recognize them? Riot looked like a light gray Venom in the movie. And Scream most recently was in the PS5 game. Which is a console exclusive and geared towards teens and up. Prowler and the Spot with Miles could work given the Spiderverse movie. Kraven MAYBE... But Kingpin and Tombstone would not sell. They're guys in suits. All your picks would interest adult fans and people who want people we've never gotten. But that's not who the core audience is Loki, Kang, Ultron. Those are my three picks to get mechs. They're in games, shows, movies - all of it.

Found this set and a bunch of other January 1st releases early at my local Target. The venom mech just became my brother’s Christmas present

The way I see it, it could be a case like the venom crawler. Miles is the same as his mech set and doesn’t have it here because venom took miles’s mech and venomized it.

Not a bad build imo, kinda works for just a larger scale Venom if that’s how you wanna use it. Definitely should’ve been a new Venom figure tho, as we’ve been using this one for 5 years now

I missed the Vemon mech 4 years ago. Nice to get a new cleaner version, I can just MOC my own arms/legs, it's nice to see the Nexo knight cockpit is back.

A worse miles than we've had before. LEGO better do some spider-verse sets.

I’m excited for this one. I don’t yet have a venom minifig and I only have a Miles Morales keychain. Easy and fairly cheap way to get both.

2020 VENOM LEOG number is?

Knees and elbows should bend. Biggest complaint of all the mechs as they have regressed.

Since I was little I have always liked Spider-Man 🤘🏻

I am going to say the same thing I say every year. These sets are for kids, not adults that have been collecting for years. Let the kids have a new Venom, or X-Wing every couple of years. For many of them it will be their first. We adults can spend our money elsewhere if we want.

Well it isn’t a new Venom. And he’s also in so many sets. These mechs provide both kids and adults an opportunity to get a new figure. This one fails this.

@@Ashnflash Sorry, I misspoke. It doesn't need to be a "new Venom", if you don't already have Venom, it is new to you. Lego is going to make this set as cheap as possible. Creating a new design would add to the cost. They might get a few more sales if it were new. But they might not. AFOLs are clearly getting tired of all the mechs. Lego just isn't going to spend the money.

Here is my wishlist for new marvel mechs Deadpool, mysterio, antman, daredevil, doctor strange, hawkeye, moon knight, vision, falcon, magnetto, starlord, doctor doom, loki, Ultron, carnage, hobgoblin, red skull, mr sinister, rhino, vulture, and electro Also is it possible for lego to make mech armors for other lego themes like dc super heroes?

I think now is a good time for a venom mech given the other sets coming out with venomized figures. And then you can have 3 spider people take on a big baddie with his own little army.

I see this very much as their congruent marketing for the Spider-man 2 game. Big Venom taking on a Miles. It is a tie-in without having to be explicitly a tie-in. Use your imagination and BAM! Lol. I would not mind trying to MOC-up the older Venom mech with this for some knee and elbow articulation. Since Venom changes shape and size all the time, anything really works!

Why don't they update the venom minifig already

I think this is the 3rd mach armor that actually makes sense. It's like a transformed Venom, also the others that makes sense are the war machine and iron man's

Quite literally a downgrade from the original because it went from 4 arms to only having 2 arms…WHYY

Miles Morales is a garbage character and that's exactly where his minifigure went as soon as I bought this. lol
