I keep thinking Minas Tirith would actually be a “midi scale” version, still 4K+ pieces, in order to get detail of all the levels of the city. A Barad-Dur version of it would feel really awkward in my opinion. Still happy to get something though!

I remember buying all the original line up in 2013 of the hobbit and the lord of the rings to build with my children. At the time I didn’t have kids but I knew I wanted to read them the books, watch the movies and build all of middle earth with them. I now have 2 babies. Haven’t opened a single box. I have a while to wait, but I can’t wait for that day.

I keep my fingers crossed for the appearance of smaller sets :D

If we get Minas Tirith, then we need the entire theme brought back to include the small and mid-sized sets. We would need battle packs for Rohan Soldiers on horses, Orcs with siege builds, and Gondor soldiers. Then we need sets for Grond, an Oliphant, lighting of the beacons, and Osgiliath. This could be followed with sets for Cirith Ungol and Minas Morgul. If we do not get the bring back of the full theme, then I would honestly rather have an icons set of Hobbiton. We need an updated Bag End, Party Tree, Green Dragon Tavern, and bywater bridge along with a lot of the hobbits we don't have yet. Edoras with the golden hall would be my next wish, if we don't get the full theme brought back.

Would love Minas Tirith but it needs to be big. I like Barad-dûr but I'd have been happy to pay double and it be really massive. Besides LOTR. I wish they would go back to the Hobbit and make a proper big Smaug on a pile of treasure

Me and my brother really got into lotr around 5 years ago and now we’re so deeply entrenched, so happy they’re renewing the ip

Battlepacks would be great! They will not slaughter the cash cow and continue to release large sets. I think the next set will be Meduseld.

Just started this new hobby! A big Minas Tirith set with 6000+ bricks would be a dream!!

I really hope that Lego start to realese more Lord of The Rings sets like in 2012. Back then, it was my favorite license

The scene from the Fellowship Of The Ring when four hobbits first encounter with the Nazgûl Diorama or a Giant 2000+ pieces Oliphaunt would be pretty epic.

So excited for new sets after so long, especially the hope of smaller sets. Minas Tirith is my dream lego set and I hope they do it justice and make it around 8000-10000 pieces and hopefully thirty+ minifigures (like the avengers tower). Battlepacks would just be the cherry on top. Thanks for the vid.

Minas Tirith needs to be HUGE! I feel like it should be an $800+ set with around 8000 or more pieces. They need to try and scale it well but like you said, have it modular and should definitely come with a minimum of 25 Mini Figs and the beasts and such. It needs to be the all out Lego LOTR set to best any other 100%! Second to this, the Vulcano where the end went down.

Avengers Tower had 30+ minifigures. A man can dream.

They could do so many cool battle packs. They could do Haradrim, Gondorian Guard, Riders of Rohan, Uruk-hai, Orcs, High Elves, and so many more. They should seize this opportunity

Lego LOTR was my childhood but since then I don’t really have anything left of my collection but with more affordable sets coming I’m happy to get back in!

The Lego Lord of the Rings theme has sooo much potential. I cant wait to see future updated sets. Barad Dur missed out on a Witch King minifig😢.

Oh Minas Tirith is going to be mind blowing i just know it. Would love a Lothlorian set too

The gates of Moria with the watcher in the water would be a phenomenal set in my opinion.

I like to think places like Edoras and Lothlorien will eventually make it into some form of set if the line continues to carry on, especially with new regular sets around the theme coming as well.

“Minas Tirith. The city of kings.” That will be some masterpiece. I agree with the Gondor and Rohan battle pack sets. It would work and be most affordable. And the discussion of new mini figures. We now have Sauron, we need Eowyn, Angmar and more as discussed. As a LOTR fan, these are exciting times.
