Ryan Lee actually if you read the books harry is born in 1980 so they are set in the 1990's, even so it is just a fun little lego stop motion it doesn't have to be in canon!

Ryan Lee canon is if the story is official to the books, lego harry potter is obviously non-canon so the creator can do what they want

Ryan Lee Batman is actually from 1939 and superman is from 1933.
