I agree that Draco’s hair is too bright but he’s had that hair color since the great hall set, and lavender doesn’t look good with reys face. Draco has black eyebrows because it’s a reused face and I agree it looks bad. However, what’s wrong with Neville??

JP DeBlaay the last line of the 7th book is literally “his scar hadn’t hurt in 19 years. All is well” (implying it’s still there), and one of the main plot points of the 7th installment is that Harry’s scar hurt again because of the connection he had with Voldemort and he learned to look into Voldemort’s mind. I don’t get where you’re coming from here 😂

I agree with most of your thoughts - esp the white frames - I have seen someone swap them out BUT I really don't mind the small amount of sand green. It kind of matches up with the 2010 and 2011 sets so makes it look much better when combining all these sets when building out Hogwarts. We have found that adding more floor plates helps with most of these sets when adding minifigs and extra accessories

tbh the great hall, whooping willow, clock tower, and astronomy tower connected looks like a wall instead of a castle...

I think this set is the perfect extension of the existing hogwarts sets - I also love the additional dimension that the extra technic connector has added (on the ground floor of the astronomy tower), so now you can expand hogwarts 'inwards' rather than horizontally (which can be a nightmare space-wise) - making it far more realistic and castle-like! 😀

I've read that the reason why they've used white frames for the Astronomy Tower was because those frame pieces only came previously on the LEGO Friends theme and they decided to use those frames since there were no other color variations for those frames at the time. Even though the larger amount of sand green used for the turrets might be a bit awkward considering that the other current Hogwarts sets mainly use dark grey, I guess one might say that they just wanted to make a few changes to make the set itself look a bit more unique. The set does still have more dark grey than sand green for the roofs, though. It's not that they've only used sand green for the roofs. I understand that you might not be the biggest fan of this set and it's your opinion, but it's still great that we're getting more Hogwarts expansion sets.

Also that hair for luna is a good compromise to allow longer hair to move along with the head unlike others who's long hair are mostly stationary

Ryan the Luna Lovegood hairpiece is spaced out because it was created for the Harry Potter CMF where she has a satchel/purse on, so they needed to be able to have a hair piece where she could wear that.

I actually really like the sand green as an accent color, and it's a good nod to the 2010 castle

I said that the luna minifigure uses the same hair piece as in the CMF series and in that series she has a purse piece so they needed to leave a gap for that to fit in to

Like that the potion colors in the cauldrons are the colors that you would get if you mixed the colors of the potion bottles.

I was debating between asking for this and The Burrow set for Christmas but I think I'll go with The Burrow. I still plan to get this set at some point, since I have all the other Hogwarts sets, but I think I will wait for it until my birthday. The green pieces and the white framing is putting me off this set for now.

I think the sand green is meant to be like moss or weeds tinting the stone of the castle. with the greenhouse and plant detail i guess that might be what they're going for? Like this area of the castle is closer to the forbidden forest or something??

I don’t think the sand green is a big problem. All of the other Hogwarts expansions had hints of sand green. This set has a little bit more sand green which, in my opinion, looks pretty consistent. If the entirety of the roof was sand green I’d be more upset.

If they wanted to do a green house they should have made it its own $20-30 LEGO set, because the green house section of Hogwarts is giant. I also would not consider getting this LEGO set because the design of it looks small and bizarre compared to other LEGO Harry Potter sets. Ryan you should do Hogwarts comparison video, and try adding the old Hogwarts expansion pack to your complete Hogwarts campus

I’m a kid, and I’m actually really excited for this set. I’m not your normal play-with-it kid though. Harry Potter, atleast, is more of a collectors item for me. I just love Harry Potter and love what you can make with bricks.
