8 wide is perfect for cars this size. You can get just the right amount of detail for something that a minifig can actually fit in.

@@Frodo_Shaggins exactly... now... i'm wondering how Porsches would look like now... 1×1 round tiles were the perfect overall size for headlights in a 6 wide model... but now it feels like 1x1 round tiles would look too small and 2×2 round tiles too big

@@Frodo_Shaggins What's annoying about 8 stud wide cars is that they look so good, but they make minifigs look too small in comparison; 6 studs wide is more scale-accurate, but details must be omitted.

You have to make more of these barnfind style mocs. They are so good.

I like that the driver's side door has a light blue/orange motif like it's an homage to the Gulf livery and the passenger's door is dark green in honor of the Bullitt Mustang. Great build!

Even though I'm more of a fan of the pop culture builds, I really appreciate how you change up the setting each time to make them unique!
