Finished the story the Friday after it came out o got it the Monday! Best game! Just waiting for doctor who to be released next week

tia aziz Since I'm planning on getting Sonic someday, when I add him to my group, he's going to be acrobat and speedster and the new team leader and Superman would step down as leader for either due to being missing by being suck in by one of the gateways or step down as leader and Sonic take over so he can help out another multiverse team who needs him more.

Now I wonder what happens when I use a Mandalorian from the Mando battlepack on the portal... oh wait. nothing. because it's not coded in. I'm not sure if characters for the game differ from regular minifigures but I hope there's at least some kind of marker on them. I highly doubt you can just use any old minifigure or vehicle you got laying around

Depends on the pod the minifig stands on, I'm not sure, as I don't have the game yet, but what I saw in some videos so far, those pods are labeled with the name of that character, you can't swap these (or maybe you can, can you?), the pods have some sort of chip in there and when you put them on the portal pad, they activate and voila. So unless you have pods for those old minifigs (and unless they are coded into the game properly), they shouldn't work. Or maybe they do work, but instead of showing the actual character you've put on it (one of those older ones), they would port into the game the characters, they are meant for originally.

It's your preference. I would go with the "Doctor Who" level pack, "Mission Impossible" story pack, "Gollum and Shelob the Great" fun pack, "Jurassic World" team pack and probably more. But I don't have that much money, so I will go only for the "Starter" pack, Doctor Who pack and Gollum. Ordered them already, just waiting for them to arrive.

I have a question, you know you need to use for instance swimming to get a gold brick well what are all the power abilities you need? +LEGO Dimensions

+mjdog96 I'd recommend Cyborg, so you can melt golden objects. And the Simpsons level pack, to get a new vehicle, a character with sonar blast capabilities, and an exploding TV, so you can blow up some objects.

+Frank17 2nd music Try using Owen or ACU on the toypad. It'll unlock the adventure world. Sadly, team and fun packs don't include story levels, only open world levels.

False, you have enough to only complete the story and get the achievements. In order to fully complete everything (all minikits and character rescues), you're going to have to buy more of their packs.

I wonder though. Some characters have some unique abilities, but some upgraded vehicles have those abilities as well, so do you still need to buy the pack with those figures, or you can use those upgrades to get the bonus stuff (minikits, golden bricks and co)?

I assume Wave 3 or 4 will have Star Wars related themes, right?

Yeah, but in those, you use the portal thing only to port characters into the game. End of interaction. In here, you actually use the portal pad to also control the game, doing actions, spells and stuff. I guess that's what they mean.
