Dad vote here for a small playground for the kids. Something free and easy for parents that's not an $80 amusement park or an hour hike through the campgrounds. Great builds!

I would add a gazebo. It could be achieved by modifying the design used in the Rivendell set. A difficult build but very pretty and it would be a nice Easter egg since it’s unlikely Rivendell will ever be in the city. I’d also consider adding a wrought iron fence to the top of the masonry wall as well as pillars and gates at the entrances of the park. Also don’t forget lamp posts around the paths for night time strolling. 😃

Love the way the fountain looks. Some gold 1x1 rounds would add some stories under the water or thrown on to the fountain with visitors throwing coins into the fountain. Look forward every day to your posts!

I’d say maybe add a lake rather than a fountain potentially as it seems a bit more natural for a Central Park, although the fountain is cool too! If you do decide to keep the fountain, I’d suggest add a bunch of loose white and transparent blue studs around the fountain itself to look like water splashing! It’s a simple and effective trick that creates motion whilst being not at all part intensive!

Looks great. I think it would look nice with four grey mini figures against the flat two stud part of the fountain as statues

Add some brown plates around the pathway to be dirt and then add plants on them. The other end could be just an open grass area for sport activities and people laying around relaxing or sunbathing and having picnics. Maybe even have a little playground area for kids. The big open park area was a good idea as now it's giving the eyes a rest from seeing so many builds grouped together.

I really like the addition of the park, it brings a lot of greenery and Avengers Tower right next door looks so majestic. I think you should move the Ghostbusters HQ somewhere else and slide the Tower in the middle of the space with half base plates on either side so it’s more centered, kind of like what you did with Town Hall

Actually, the university would look better in the park, great swap with the skyscrapers.

The nougat sky scraper gives me vibes of an old factory being gutted and turned into office buildings or loft apartments. The No interior details makes it feel like it’s still being redeveloped. Could be cool to have like an architect minifigure looking at it from the outside with blue prints

Lots of great suggestions in the comments here … I’ll add another to consider .. since you have MILS, a small, imbedded amphitheater in one of the corners of the park for music performances would be perfect.

I like seeing the trial and error in timelapses because it's nice to see mistakes and watch you over come those, but that's up to you obviously. This new project is really coming together!

The improvement of your city is so great since you adjusted things! I know you like doing things, your own way but I hope you do foliage similarly to @brickscraft to that Central Park

This is what the Botanical Garden set shouldve looked like. Legos are getting so expensive. I love the hobby, its a stress relief method for me, and im so inspired by Bricksie's city. This is what my basement will look like someday.

I agree the spring latern festival must go somewhere else,as a small park you still have a lot of empty bases,its a great set!i like the return of the skyscraper please find a place for your white and black skyscraper,which you will add your own interior

You can put a handful of the official Lego coins in the bottom of the fountain to symbolize the wishes of the citizens of Brickmonton

if you use loads of clear blue plates, flat tiles and cheese slopes you could add sprouting water another thing is to add some of those larger vehicles that would be found in a city as racing cars and monster trucks arent very correct while a bin/garbage truck would make more sense

Great start for the park... Maybe add more details to the fountain, statues like the ones from rivendell or the museum... Or some artistic ornaments. Also a bigger spray if possible, more spectacular! A big ole tree in the park would be nice as well, to cast some shade for a playground or a dining area... Modify the tree from the bonsai set ?

I’ve got a great idea, put the Avengers Tower on a “pedestal” like a small two story corner building to highlight it more and make it blend in better at street level. The “real” tower sits on top of a ground level building too

Great start to the park. How about a little bike share or bike parking in the corner to fill up some park space. It's well connected with your bike network, the Lego folk might enjoy it.

I'm excited to see how the park develops! Great addition to the city. Small comment: I really think the dark gray for the pathway around the botanical gardens is not the right color. It's the same color as the roads, which suggests asphalt, and I think it contrasts badly with the natural beauty of the area. Perhaps light gray or a cobbled mix of different colors and sized tiles would be appropriate, similar to what you have in the campground and the pumpkin patch. I realize it's easier said than done though, as part constraints are certainly an issue.

Looks great, it really opens up the city and nicely shows the Avengers tower while still keeping it in the centre of the city. That said, putting a glass building right next to the Avengers tower is asking for trouble ;)

You should leave the front section for seasonal displays Xmas, Easter, Halloween, and such so you can change always having a new little theme for your city for stories and functions

I would suggest a general festival area in the park. That you it gives you space to change up the scene depending one whatever holiday comes by.

Love the idea of the park in the Lego city! I think it’s a good idea to find some inspiration in French Versailles kind of landscaping. They did a lot with fountains, waterways and sculptures.

The diner would go well closer to the Arboretum. The University needs a high tech building attached to it as well as some park space. U of T here has mix of the orignal building and new. Definetly need more green space in the city centre. The new layout is awesome

Glad you are happy with the fountain To give it dimension recommend doing a one plate white plate between each layer (steps) the water falls on To make it more dynamic and popping to connect it to the white out of the botanical garden

I suggest you add some coins to the bottom of the fountain (and possibly also on the fountain so you see them better). Even more ambitious, add a water pump and make it real water!

Falling Water? Lego friends forest waterfall 41677 is using a sort of clear curved part to represent water. Don't know if that's the idea you're looking for, but it might be worth having a look? I hope you see this so you can check that. Also, I LOVE that new park! If I had the space/time/parts to build the lego park of my dreams, that is very close to what I was imagining. But I pictured it with a few cats either in between the trees, or maybe a cat on a tree branch if that was possible. I cannot do that because I don't have even one botanical garden and I don't think I ever will get one. So, could you put 2 or 3 cats in the park please? I think one on a bench would be meowably cute.

Create water out of the fountain using flextubing with transblue cilinder pieces

As a suggestion for that last bit of unfinished path, consider avoiding symmetry. Have the path join the fountain path loop on one side or the other instead of down the middle between the plates. Use that lack of symmetry to draw the eye to whatever is taking up the space on the opposite side.

Very cool. The historic part of town center would have a symmetric park, perhaps an italian garden or spanish promenade. The fountain needs gray minis with the water built up splashing around them.
