I prefer this one because the architecture and colors on this one are just so much prettier and better for display.

This one is much much better. The newer one has a car that belongs in the Simpson’s, snow on the roof looks awful while this one is very very nicely done.

I for one would choose the newer one. While this one looks great from the outside and captures the gothic look really well, the 2017 version has more space and more details on the inside. It also has better minifigs. I do love the vehicle in this one though. All in all, it depends on what you're looking for. If you're after a display model, both look good but this one might be a bit better. If you want playability for a kid or want more details for the inside, then you should probably go for the 2017 one.

Really helpful. Just finished building last weekend. Enjoyed my building experience.

Yeah but don't you remember the old original batman that came out a long time ago they used the same head for Bruce so you could use that for a Bruce wane

I love when you talk about how fun or satisfying it is to build these sets. That is the best part for me. Almost 30 and I still love those little plastic pieces!!

It would be cool if there was a baseplate included so you can add a yard like you said but it would be more prices and more expensive

Green Yoshi you can buy base plates pretty cheap online if you want:)

I think they need to make separate parts of arkham to add on and each part has cells for the more forgotten characters such as man bat clay face and killer Croc and bane

If u get the other bigger arkham set and a massive bace plate U could use all 4 peaces to make a full building with a court yard in the middle

Great looking set i love the details like the gargoyles. With two of these sets and a little modification you could make a large building

JSBrickz believe it or not, here in Canada they sell some sets from 2008 in some lego stores and a few ToysRUs. I managed to get this set from a local ToysRUs. Check your stores they might have it! (it wont show up on their website.) Best of luck finding this set!

Great Review though the Phone Sticker isn't exclusive it also comes in the batcave

sideways building on the truck is very common for me, but my larger tiles are studded plates with textured greebling

I was 9 when I got this built it all day Next day my mum woke up to me finishing it off🤣

Nice review! Before I didn't really like this set but after hearing your thoughts on it, my perspective changed. It's different when MOC makers (like you) review sets and when regular collectors review sets. I much prefer watching reviews from the former, but not to take anything away from the collector reviewers, some of them have a good eye for detail and would also comment on the construction process. Keep it up! P.S. I hope you would also do Marvel set reviews :) peace!

Such a cool set with so many interesting builds, the handcuffs used as garnish for the circular window is a nice touch. I'd love to have this, but I'm sure the secondary market prices are insane, so it'll have to remain a dream for now. :/

I think the modular build was so that if you were to hypothetically get two of the set, you could make (Almost) the full building, not to mention you'd have two gotham police officers and two trucks as well.

That cards right below are for other villains i mean if scarecrow is free and mr freeze is captured they can take of scarecrows card and put on mr freeze's card
