Speaking of mechs, any of you remember Exo Force? That Lego series about the mountain split in two where the heroes that were all anime like on one side fought against the robot rebellion that was based on the other side. Heck, they even came with little rubberized anime hair. I wish they did more with those sets. The mechs were so cool with those light up packs that had the transparent tube you hooked into it and would light up too...

I’ve been collecting ALL the Ninjago mechs and dragons since almost the beginning of the theme, only missing a couple of the earliest ones. This is such a great way to add more to the collection, by building some of the dragons into mechs! I have some double sets of some of the older dragons and may have to give this a shot sometime! I’d love to see you build one of the Mech sets into a dragon!

i love this mech! i bought this set last week and i saw this video, i used the other extra pieces on my way, and some pieces from Forbidden Spinjitsu Lloyd's Journey and Skybound Cole's Dragon to make it even more detailed. Great vid!

Same pieces, same characters, Lego literally could do one of the best Mechs I seen from Ninjago with the exact same pieces, and instead they give us that weird looking dragon, amazing job man you have great imagination to do this MOCs!

Been having the idea of combining parts from my lego creater mustang, skull sorcerer's dragon, and the legacy fire dragon sets into a mech. You're channel is a good place to look for ideas but I keep getting stuck on what to do as a first step. Amazing channel and I love it. You're the inspiration to my idea! Thank you

The fact that you pulled off a mech this good looking from that set using no extra parts is impressive but to also have some parts left at the end I can't figure out why Lego hasn't offered you a job designing sets, I remember when I was younger I want to say late 90s or early 2000s Lego had a series of mechs that looked anime inspired and I could totally see Chubbybots doing a sort of 2.0 version something completely original but mech based I would personally love to see what you would come up with

I did do a few with the wings, but the build was too unstable for my taste so i scrapped it

Awesome build! Also, i figured out how to put the wings on with a few extra pieces and now look like an even cooler dragon mech. I also fixed the feet so that it would be balanced with the wings

Makes me think of Predacon Megatron from Transformers Beast Wars, in the color scheme of Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime.

I'm gonna buy this set just to make this I love mechs

a question to build the evo robot using only the pieces of the dragon itself or did you also use other pieces from other legos?

Maybe you could upgrade it further to have more moveable joints

Gotta say cool, but the main reason I'm gonna get this set is for the new head and wings, I'll redo the body and etc

I think this is a really great build, but that back pack that stick to the torso is so great i think you divided your building time, like morning, then you are out of idea, then in the night when every thing is done or so you come back and play with it a little until you figure the right way to assemble the torso and the back pack. you said it your self in other vids that you just play with them until you find a good way to build them but i dun thing you have a enough time ( in a day ) for 6 hours or so just to play lego.I dun no your age but im only 21 and i dun even have that much free time myself ;-; Just guessing but when i build a Moc it usually takes me an hour to build a single part, then im out of idea for the others ( or just stressed out ) so i rest a bit, then later at the end of the day or maybe on the next day i will check on it again, pretty effective and fun since you dun have to force your self. So i guess the overall time for the torso should be around 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes if you do divide your building time. or may be im wrong and the lego enthusiasm in you is so great you just play with it 6 hours straight or something like a lego maniac :33 .
