Thanks gents for a most comprehensive unboxing. I will probably pick this up - I think this will tap into a lot of nostalgia for gamers of a certain age, myself included as well as 30k/40k players. I used to play Adeptus Titanicus and Space Marine back in the day and absolutely loved them. Many happy hours spent at the games club or mates houses playing the old Epic. This looks like it is going to be a really good game.

Me too - I have such fond memories of it.

Am the sort of sicko who genuinely enjoys building fiddly tiny vehicles. I really like all the sculpts here; my main issue with LI I think will just be finding someone to play with (to the point where I’ll likely slowly build up an astartes and a solar force so me and a mate can play, rather than relying on finding other LI players)

I was excited to try this out… it $180 for the starter (and of course it’s not available) is a nonstarter. Not saying it’s not noticed correctly, but it just doesn’t fit my gaming budget. I will have fun watching you all play! Well done Ps at least they have decals. The markers - at least they have them, but a heavier cardstock would be nice if not plastic

The tokens are very sad. Considering the 2018 kill team tokens were basically the same icons, and on proper punch-out card. I'll likely be using those instead

My thoughts exactly. Those tokens really annoyed me.

At first I thought, I'm losing the will to live ...... 'Death by yet another Unboxing Video' Having said that, you guys are premier league gamers, are always entertaining and you don't disappoint here. The best one I've seen. Am so looking forward to some of your Battle Reports guys.

Those aren't "artillery doofers" on the rear of the Leman Russes - they're trench rails like they used to have on some old tanks to improve their trench-crossing ability!

@ModellingforAdvantage I can't find the short that had it or who did it. But it was done. Also put magnets on the baneblade sponsons. Did see on Cults someone made printable sponsons with magnets for the predators.

Interesting - I'm still not tempted (which is just as well as it's sold out everywhere at the moment), but I'm really keen to see you guys giving it a go - maybe I'll get on board down the line (although that's more likely if they bring it up to 40K time frame as I'd want Orks!) It is not for everyone, but it does look very similar to the 90s game.

It’s the right time period to set it in , love ❤️ the setting. A time period in the lore when 50,000 space marines walking around was the norm in one formation. Sadly I gave up warhammer after 20 years due to company behaviour and crazy pricing. But this does look good 👍 if there are knights in there is 4 factions 😊

Looks cool, but with all G-Dub stuff, I’m suspect. It’s going to be a rather pricey affair to field a true company of marines and like Horus Heresy, I feel like it has the potential to get stale with marine on marine battles. Interested to see where this goes before jumping in

@@ModellingforAdvantage that’s what stinks. I was pretty interested, but to field a viable army, you have to spend what you’d spend on a 40k army. I think I’ll keep an eye out on Epic Warpath. Suspect that will be much cheaper
