I managed to get this set, first thing I'm doing with the Mk 3 marines is losing the spike on the helmets because they are too Death Guard for my Dark Angels army.

That's a good idea, I think I'll do the same. Started painting a few of those and I was getting the feeling that something was off

I managed to get this set. The Land Raider and the MK6 marines from Age of Darkness will be going into a nostalgia Blood Angels army for 40K. The Mk3s will be joining my 40K Iron Warriors. I have no plans for the dreadnought yet.

I ended up buying a couple of these sets, plan to turn majority of the marines into heavy support squads, keep the land raiders for Apoc games that my club does every few months. Undecided on the dreads

Wish I got back into warhammer in time to pick this set up. Would have been perfect for the Imperial Fist force I'm putting together

Hoping ill be able to pick up a deredeo on ebay now that this kit is out. I totally agree in that mk2 would have been ideal or even mk5, I think the white scars were mk2 for the longest time even into the heresy. This mk3 set is less, I'm not a huge fan and unfortunately it will spoil my force now with the height difference

I find it best to Cal the deredeo derady the “Dorito” dready just roles off the tongue better

Great set. I was able to get one and dont regret it. I prefer the MK III over the Mk VI anyway.

everytime is see a new Dreadnought - i wish they would have kept the Boxy design ( the iconic one)
