My favorite strategy is using Vader's "New Ways to motivate them" on royal guards, giving them 3 moves and essentially turning them into melee missiles >:-)

My favorite strategy is to have fun. I got tired of X-Wing's "Play the meta" mentality, so I switched over to a game where every unit, even the overpriced ones, feel useful.

I initially mis-read the Treat Wound rules - new product made my brain run at half speed!

Watching your legion videos always make me sad I have yet play haha I got 2 cores and all of wave 1 stuff at launch and have yet to play even 1 game. At that time my wife had her our first child, and 10 months later our 2nd one came. Two babies like that dont leave much time for playing haha.

This is a sweet set! I really dig these sculpts. I want to see some Imperial Naval Troopers now that we know they can get the helmets right.

My favorite strategy for Legion beyond having fun is “blitzkrieg” - I like having a heavy slam forward clearing a hole and having corps flood in behind them. Can’t wait to see the whole vid - this is the expansion I’ve been waiting for

My current strategy is to paint... slowly painting my minis. I have really enjoyed getting back into the hobby aspect of a minis game. Looking forward to getting both boxes of specialists as they all look fun to paint!

I love this expansion! Like you I'm totally going to make myself an Imperial Commander stand-in. I might use Krennic's sculpt to do it though

Nice video, really neat to see what the new Imperial Command Cards are. One thing about the 2-pip command card, it can be used to counter part of the effect of Han's Reckless Diversion, as if you pin that unit down and put its face up order token back into the pile, then other units no longer have to shoot at that unit as opposed to other units. Hard to say whether or not I have a favorite strategy for Legion right now, certainly having fun with the game though!

My copy of the core set just got delivered today!

Shore troopers! I can’t wait. I think Death Troopers and the tank make it a real possibility - after they bring in more flavor. If beach troopers are corps, I’m wondering how they differentiate them from other corps? Deployment like path finders would be rad, but not sure they’re specialized enough.

@@Longo556 yea i did see the deathtroopers i think im going to order myself some along with that tank. yea true but you never know really. i found a person on shapeway that makes some so if there the same size im just going to porxy them and use the rules for stormtroopers

I love the imperial comm unit. I wish we could have a super cheap unit of Imperial Military Troopers that look like him. Just aesthetically it'd look great with Veers, AT-ST and some generic imperial trooper units.

I need to get 2 of these so I can run 2 of them as commanders. Also the 1 pip makes sense for operatives as well.

I actually don’t have a set in stone strategy, I play so much that I just try something new every time. However I do love running han and cheese in ATRTs or having mass infantry of ATRTs with flamethrowers😂

Ugh, I still haven't gotten to play as I'm working on the the paint right now, but I just want to collect all of these!

So with the "Pinned Down" command card, correct me if I'm wrong, I can splitfire two AT-ST's at 4 different enemy units and knock out 4 order tokens?

To be fair about the new one pips, if you have that comms relay you can pass the order to someone else right?

I always play fleet troopers and commando saboteur on urban maps. So good.

My favourite strategy involves taking down enemy AT-STs as soon as possible. I like to keep the AT-ST busy by shooting at it with the AT-RT laser cannon from afar, using this distraction to manoeuvre two squads of rebel troopers with ion troopers close enough to keep its actions to a minimum, and escort Luke Skywalker up the battle field to deliver the finishing blow using Son of Skywalker!

Damn man , you can play un painted, When I got the game I played tons of unpainted games using all sorts of crap as terrain on the table , Kept playing as I started painting them all and kept playing when i went back basing them all properly lol ( still havent finished that yet ) . Dont let the fun slip by ( as much as I love painting and crafting ,playing the game is still more fun lol .

Papa Musk buy 2x core sets. Value per dollar is insane! Then go back and maybe sell the faction you don’t like or won’t use, to turn into the units that you want from expansions for the faction you’ll play

Still kinda think better future proofing would be to just name it Heal instead of Treat. Force healing or something is possible especially with more Force users when they go to CW era.

I preorder alot of Legion stuff from FFG directly. This time it shipped REALLY early!

Strategy for legion is to have a balance between infantry and vehicles and strike hard
