Got mine a few weeks ago, i was very skeptical as i owned a Steamdeck and wasn't a fan, but this with its huge screen is now used evey day and even night for watching movies etc, best PC related purchase I've made in years.

So, you think a game changer is being able to adjust the controllers? I’m waiting on frame gen from the Ally.

I would like to see this device evolve as compared to steam deck due to windows and flexibility it has to offer. Great review 👌👍

Lenovo already added most user requests already in 2023. It were already great last year. I know because i bought it on day 1.

You can do some pretty heavy work on this bad boy. The processor is pretty amazing. I use mine as a full PC as well as handheld.

I like it better for its screen size and PC Replacement.

What are your mw3 settings?

Mine will be here tomorrow really wish they had a dock going to use a anker usb-c 4k hub to connect to my asus predator 240hrz 1080p ips monitor. Love the deck and personally won the deck lottery on that cause it prefroms great the dock still has its issues but not a huge deal but personally the deck has been great for me burt also 30fps 720 upscaled to 1080 doesn't really bother me so excited to see what the Go can due but personally this will stayed in docked (mode) so hopefully it will be a good replacement for my now bonked hp omen 15 rtx3060 ryzen 5800h still works but windows no longers sees the dedicated gpu so its chromebook at this point. I know it won't prefrom like the laptop i had, but if it can play darktide, baldurs gate 3, squad, ready or not, gtfo, which the deck can play those just not a real good experience. I will be happy

You still have the protection on the mouse pad need to take that off

You mention auto updates in the Lenovo Space App. Does it automatically update the drivers like the ROG does or do I have to manually update it? That is the only factor left from me putting this over the ROG since the dead zone issue is fixed

Lenovo mentioned in community posts that they’re working on adding driver updates to the legion space app, but it’s currently not there yet.

Their first update in 2024 were several fixes and upgrades for the controllers. A new BIOS and Space should be around the corner. A new driver with AMD's latest Fluid Motion tech is on on top of Lenovo's list.

How loud are the fans

I'm interested, very interested, BUT, apparently the lackluster speakers and cheap sound they provide are a deal-breaker for me. When the sound improves, if the sound and speakers improve, I will buy the Go.

Out of the box the sound is terrible. I had a laptop I brought almost 5 years ago that had the same problem. I installed Realtek software on both that laptop and the legion go and the sound improved. I have the steam deck OLED the sound on the legion go now is good enough compared to it when gaming. Having used the legion go for about 2 weeks now, I can tell you the sound isn't as bad as you think. If you are good with Windows, and view this as more of a small tablet than a gaming handheld as it is simply not one regardless of the detachable controllers, it's worth the purchase in my opinion.

False info. Sound is good quality, just change the sound settings. There's a post on the LegionGo subreddit describing what setting to modify. It's not cheap, it's just a jank initial setting which can be swapped easily in under a minute.

i have no idea why despite the grip being similar to the steam deck...i really do prefer how this one feels in the hand out of all the handhelds and i damn well thinking of getting it just for that XD was thinking of the rog but man this one just feels the best to me and i was surprised by the lack of wiggle from the controllers that comes from say a switch which i was expecting given their similar gimmick

Thanks for the honest video man! For me, I’m a dad and so far only played on Xbox , I want to play MW3 (and maybe games like God of war, red dead redemption) but not use our TV so I can still sit with my wife and kid So if I don’t bother much about playing on the go or playing certain other games, would you recommend the Lenovo or the Steam deck OLED for that purpose? I just ordered the Steam deck 1TB OLED but after understanding that it might be an issue to play MW3 On the Steam deck due to anti cheat , I’m thinking about getting the Lenovo instead Any input is highly appreciated

Wish I can comment on the steam deck, but I haven’t used that one. I do play mw3 on legion go and it’s great. The december update like I mentioned in this video has significantly improved the experience

It already have a color accurate 1600p / 144hz screen.

The Lenovo Legion Go 2 will not have detachable grips and will be smaller. More in comparison to the Asus ROG ally but will have near bezel less screen and a keypad built in still

Just my opinion. From what people are saying its too big so they will make it smaller. The fps thing is just a gimmick. So they might remove them. Also they should put a native landscape screen in there device

It does work and it does have a mic build in but the mic isn't great if you use headset with a build in mic is better.😊

How do you use push to talk. It won't let me bind any buttons to be the push to talk button

I'm going to wait 6 to 8 months to get the legion go when there's more updates and offical acessories avaliable for it or even a revision as the usb c on the bottom is a stupid place to put it unless there's a offical docking station that uses it, love my steam deck oled it's great and the OS is super easy and smooth to use and now I got 4 tb of memory it's loaded with games and non steam applications and in the docking station playing on my 55inch TV IN HDR is real good fun

Booting straight into Windows 11 desktop on Legion Go beats any bloated launcher. It starts faster, and you can start anything you want from the desktop.

I wonder if this will be able to run GTA 6

Since it can run Avatar, it probably will. Steam Deck is too weak for both Avatar and GTA 6. Steam Deck is totally useless for a few new games.

Why? Windows is a horribly optimized and bloated OS. Windows handhelds will never be able to optimize for gaming nearly as well as a purpose built OS released by Steam. The only thing better about windows is compatibility with certain games. Which is valid but the capability gains Steam OS has pioneered in the last few years are nothing short of amazing compared to Linux gaming 6 years ago.

Rog Zephyrus duo 16.... its my baby (: Plug that bad boy into a 22" monitor and i got a game screen, and two extra screens for apps and others.. rgb keyboard. It looks so good how its set up and i kill loads of bit chizz in my pvp shoot shoots.. but my gaming laptop is really my dope ass "portable" desktop.. my legion is the device I actually use portably... in bed
