Ronaldo was weird, he made new moves all the time. That and his speed was phenomenal, I agree with Nesta, he played with Messi and Cr7, he said R9 was better.

Is it really fair to compare them? Both Messi and Ronaldo were young, while R9 was at a peak. In no way am I discrediting R9, I’m more so questioning the conditions the comparison was based upon!

As a young player he is absolutely uncomparable to Messi or Cristiano. By age 20, Ronaldo had scored 145 goals already in 5 seasons of professional football, with a World Cup, World Player of the Year and Golden Boot under his belt, with a Ballon d'Or shortly after turning 21. Messi had 37 goals, also in 5 seasons. Cristiano had 20 goals in 4 seasons. There is no comparison in terms of natural talent. An uninjured R9 would be ahead of Cristiano and Messi.

Some kids can't accept the fact that r9 is the best forward football player till now .

Ronaldo was built like a tank and would come at you with such pace and power but was also so light on his feet, it was a killer combination for a striker, too be able to switch directions so quickly and confuse defenders, he would sometimes just straight line through the defence and bulldoze his way through like he didn't care because he had so much faith in his ability. He was truly one of a kind and the reason I got into football as a kid. Even as a non-Brazilian I low key supported them and wanted them too win, they bought magic too the game.

Nope. I rate R9 at peak above Messi’s peak. No disregard to Messi at all who is among the all time greats without a doubt. But R9 didn’t have to have a team built around him. You can slot him into any team in the world and it would become a scary team over night. That’s because he simply scares the living day lights out of defenders. He can dribble, he can outpace anyone, he can muscle past even 6ft 3 Jaap Stam in his prime with ease. All of that done as a 21 year old mind you. At 21, CR7 was still very raw and Cafu kept him in his back pocket. Even Gattuso kept at 23 year old CR7 in his back pocket in the champions league in 2007. R9 on the other hand isn’t in anyone’s backpocket at all. He was blitzing everything in his path. The only reason why he didn’t win 3 world cups is down to food poisoning and seizures suffered prior to the 1998 World Cup final where he looked very lethargic
