That point at the end is so important. The most basic way for a melee to compete against range is to use bushes (its the reason you don't see so many solo lane ranged players). Blizz balances melee vs range plays with this mechanic in mind. They do it here and in WoW (LoS). Tracer just goes "nope" with that lvl 1 talent.

I love how Pally had 30% of his teams damage, and Abathur had 29% of his teams damage. Forget Tycus, it was all the mines.

HOTS is not 100% dead, with the release of a new PTR build earlier. Hopefully that means more HOTS-videos to come :)

@@hellfrozenphoenix13 Most notably it included an actual balance change (One, for Samuro, compensation for his hearth trick bug being fixed) but even more copium from that they changed a bunch of the Difficulty ratings for the heroes. Which are useless to everyone but new players...so are they expecting new players?

Love me some Tracer gameplay. She can be so stressful to play if they have stuns. She's so squishy.

You can _sometimes_ do the same run and gun stuff Tracer does playing Windranger in DotA2, but it's on a cooldown and only against one enemy everytime you get it.

The only other hero from another moba that is "similar" to Tracer I'd say Urgot from League of legends. Once his W is maxed he can stay in "run-shoot" mode. He has a dash too. But he's more slow and bruiser. Maybe more like Tychus actually.

I guess smite ranged gods are all kinda like tracer you shoot in the pointed direction. Great game Pally!

A character that plays similar to tracer. Do you mean with the auto lock on or with the dancing around the enemies? If you mean the lock on i could kinda mention lols urgot, although quite a different playstyle. The dancing around enemies have many somewhat similar styles. I guess most are meele though, but if i had to choose an adc capable of doing that maybe kaisa, samira, vayne or nihla

yeah i don't get the lvl 20 talent, like what was it for? he did not pick any talent that has any sinergy with his W, it has counter sinergy with his rechose since it splits them all apart AAAAAND IT FUCKS OVER ZARYA ULT WITCH AT 20 ALSO SILANCES

The last buff or change Tracer gotten made it that my talents were shifted to her E. I like the extra bombs coming out of her when teleporting back. Never understood what made her W talent at level 1 the "best" talent. She goes in, unloads, goes out. The other two talents are better for that.

2:09 Windranger from Dota 2 has a similar mechanic with her Ultimate ability. Let's her lock on the target and auto attack while moving.

Good fun, enjoyed the mine complaining especially. :)

I have a potentially strange request, i ussed to watch u wayyyy back, like a year after hots released. Now i have been thinking about getting a bit back into hots, comming from league myself, but i'm not someone who likes to go completely blind into a game. So was wondering, even if this will prob be drowned in all the thousands of commnets. Would u make a more "guide" oriented video, something more targeted for those familiar with mobas, but comming into hots. Like where what roles generally go, how pre 10 is, importance of towers, camps, objectives. Maybe even some notes of different maps. All this would be extremely nice for well, any newcomer into hots but og in league/dota, as if hots does get revived by microsoft i think that sort of video would do very well, and be extremely usefull to both help the players wanting it, and avoid a bunch of newcommers getting completely railed and loosing interest as the game plays very differently imo. Anyway enough of the long comment, great vid, even if this prob won't get noticed ^^

2:16 im not entirely sure whats going on with tracer but ahe SEEMS to sort of be like urgot's that makes him attack at the atk speed cap(2.55) but always targets the closest enemy(not even champion just enemy) so u can walk in circles like u did here and melt a single target(his passive is shotgun knees on a medium cooldown based on a clockface positioning, its odd to explain)

8 minutes in and I was like, "damn this is looking like a stomp, hope the other team steps up" and holy shit they did. Exciting match!

The mental tax is exactly why I always pick focus fire. As the middle ground dps wise between the minigame and sleight of hand, you get consistent good damage. Allowing you to focus on outplaying the enemy Also, given the abathur mines I would have taken bullet spray as the melee upgrade to clunter them, becuase then it stops being a targeted ability allowing you to kill the mines

I think focus fire actually does more damage as long as you make sure to empty the clip. There is very little reason to pick Locked and Loaded, but I think it's a cool mechanic. Wish it was a baked into the character by default.

the most fucked up game I've had the chance to play.. ... setting ranks, choosing teammates, trolling, when you're in silver 5 for example.. and you end the game prematurely because you know it's a waste of time, so it puts you back in bronze 5 and you go again. awkward game concept as a whole. I'm not surprised it's free. what is free is a cheap farce played by some incompetent idiot who then spoils your game

Honestly the only thing I don't like about Pallys HoTs videos is that it's mostly premades built around his character

A lot of them are the same players, when you do these premades, the other players are gonna do 1 of 2 things. 1. pick characters that compliment yours or 2. Focus a lot of their attention on making you look good for KZread.
