I was chuffed when we signed Kerry from Reading, with his scoring record, and he never disappointed me. Being a friend of my neighbour Gorden Durie, they would drive together to the Bridge, and took my son to the open meetings, to meet all the players at the Bridge, and take photos with them.
Big up kerry i was one of the 15,000 derby at home 83 followed u lot up and down the country, top geezer thanks kerry so meany goals
Such a nice bloke. He was kind enough to sign my programme a few years ago at the Bridge.A real Gentleman and a Chelsea Legend.
Loved him at Chelsea, he’s my hero, a true blue legend, so brave to come out and be honest in this interview. There is only one Kerry Dixon.
Known Kerry since I was thirteen years old in youth football, was a great bloke then and has stayed one throughout his life, never forgot where he came from, top lad, and a fantastic old school number 9, God bless him.
After Ossie my favourite Chelsea player. He knows how big Chelsea’s real support is.
Top player top human being enough said and he is Chelsea.
A classic number 9. Rare to find these days. A natural finisher and arguably one of the best in the air.
Absolute legend. Saw him play many times when I lived in London throughout 1984 and 1985. Also saw that game against Northern Ireland at Wembley. Great memories. Great goalscorer. Seems like a nice bloke too. Chelsea New Zealand.
Met Kerry several times when he was coaching his sons team, I was coaching and scouting for various Thames Valley Pro clubs. Always a great passer of information and wisdom found out that as I left Reading he had joined. Hope he succeeds in his life as he deserves better. Regards Pete.

Cheap too those days ,just pay on gate, happy and easy days
True, humble and honest. Well done mate. Keep going. We've all got to fight the fight that is life. Enjoy the good, and put up with the bad. Come out the other side and be as happy as you can be.that's all any of us can do really. I loved to watch you at the bridge in the 80s. Thanks for the great memories 😊
I was at that first game of Kerry's, against Derby, and many more afterwards, what a great season that was. What a Legend he became, and still is, in my eyes. Hope he gets where he wants to be, in the not too distant future. KTBFFH.
What a fantastic forward, very complete, both feet, centre forward play, getting across defenders, second striker play into the space behind, ability to round keepers , wonderful heading . Really great
First Chelsea player I ever knew about, the mighty KD
There's Only One Kerry Dixon 💙
Only just watched the show, but hope things are looking up,you come across as a good bloke, and wish you all the best moving forward,
Legend
One of my favourite chelsea players ever, see him play many times in 80s and 90s
Total respect his honesty
I was at the arsenal game 1st game following season 1 division we was in the arsenal end ended 1 each lol mad weekend lots of mad weekends lol
From a Gooner, good luck, mate. Proper old school striker.
I was lucky to see King Kerry legend true Chelsea fc then
87/88 was my favourite season .....In 1983 Chelsea come down to Brighton and completely smashed the place up. Ah those were the days?
The rest of the team was not brilliant but Dixon, Speedie and Nevin was the best forward line we have ever had.

Along with Eddie Niedzwiecki. Eddie and Kerry were like two pillars that held the building up at either end. When they were both out of the team at the same time CFC were 50% less of a team.
