They are Taking a year to develop Pokémon Legend Z. LETS GOOOOO they are actually taking there time with a new game 😭😭😭 I'm extremely surprised they are skipping Gen 5, but I grew up with Gen 6. But I don't care it could have been Gen 5 or 6. I'm just happy it's not releasing this year. ALSO, MEGA EVOLUTION IS BACK !!!!!

This is probably due to the delay of the switch 2.

Kalos has to be one of the best regions loved by many. It was the first main stream pokemon game to give us 3d models/ gameplay, Kalos' theme was beauty and the team took full advantage of the 3d aspect of it, It gave us Mega Evolutions, the best mechanic almost everyone loved, The new pokemon that were introduced that time were great, And the girl travel companion that goes with Ash ACTUALLY have history with each other and make perfect couple and she kissed him in the end. Black and White/ and X and Y were the last really good mainstream pokemon games in my opinion. B/W had the great story while X and Y had the best gameplay and introduction to 3D on the handheld.

Many are confused because of the holographic presentation but gonna say it here... That's why it's called Pokemon Legends Z-A because its usually takes place before the original game comes up. The holographic presentation is just a blueprint for redeveloping the urbanize Lumiose City. The key words here we know it's before XY is the "A Vision of beautiful coexistence between people and Pokemon..." means that there are still conflict with the relationship if pokemon and humans. Modern eras are now getting along with pokemon but here it's to coexist. Also not a coincidence that they choose Kalos after Paldea because Paldea is a representation of Spain so it's near France which Kalos is based on. Not gonna be surprised if they mentioned Paldea and Galar (representation of UK) because they were in war before.

why is everyone say the Pokemon TCG Pocket is NFT bruh, just because it's digital doesn't mean it NFT, Pokemon has did this for year with TCG Live, only now they make it worldwide.

It was an unexpected twist but a happy twist especially with the returns of MEGA FUCKING EVOLUTIONS BABY WE ARE SO FUCKING BACK I AM BUSTING WITH EXCITEMENT

Huh. A Legends game related to Zygarde. Interesting choice for a follow up. Focusing on 1 city can also allow to flesh things out and focus on improving from the faults of the previous game while also doing something new with the formula. I wanna see more footage but i do think this sounds more promising than anticipated.

In my opinion, it never made sense to do unova first. Unova already had sequel games when gen 6 only ever got 1 pair of games. I still can't believe it. I haven't played a pokemon game since sun and moon since the newer ones had a lot of problems but this is honestly a day one purchase. I might have to get arcues now too just for the hype.

Don't hold into the idea of Legends Z-A releasing on the next gen console. Ultra Sun and Moon released on 3DS in 2017, months after the switch. Black 2 and White 2 released on DS in 2011 after the 3DS released. Gen 10 will release on the next gen console.

I've been waiting for mega evolution to come back

Just saw the trailer for the new legends game coming and… idk how to feel. I want to be hype and I know people are already saying “they’re taking there time” but just cause it’s coming a whole year and so from now don’t mean anything. I’m waiting for gameplay to see how this will look, and improves from the previous game, I am happy for mega evolution returning. Plus it’s Kalos one of my favourite regions, hoping it will be better and all but knowing how greedy and how much they rush the games out despite glitches and it not being the quality it could be.. I just don’t know.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't say they are exactly taking their time. As this announcement pattern is the same as the previous Legends game. Legends Arceus was announced during the Feb 2021 Pokémon Present and also released the following year in January of 2022. And since that release and the fact this game will be releasing in 2025, that means the development of this game still undergone a 3 year development schedule. As per usual. Sorry to say.

At first I was like ehhh “are they really gonna develop Z-A for Switch 1?” But it has some benefits. For example the Switch 2 if Nintendo does go with Nvidia, then it will have DLSS support so the Switch 2 version will run at a locked 60 FPS upscaled to 4K. Because this is gamefreak I can imagine them doing a bare minimum Switch 2 version of the game lol and the Switch 2 version being a small improvement with just that. Time for a yap session The dream would be for them to develop Pokemon Z-A on Unreal Engine 5, the reason why is because it is an extremely versatile engine when it comes to visuals. Compare Fortnite (which uses UE5) on Switch to let’s say an Xbox Series S cause that’s what the Switch 2 should be comparable to. There’s a HUGE difference in visuals and runs at a stable 60 fps in graphics mode so imagine the type of leap we could get if Pokemon uses UE5. I did say that’s the dream and I am not saying that’s gonna happen which I’m like 99% sure it’s not lol, they can’t even optimize their games on the current Switch properly and even if they do perfectly optimize them for the Switch, the visuals would still look like poop because they haven’t taken advantage of the Switch’s full power. It’d be great if instead of making other spinoffs, they could hire those devs to clean up their games like the New Pokemon Snap team because they made the best looking 3D Pokemon game with great animations.

I honestly really didn't like Legends Arceus, so I cant say that i'm excited to see another Legends game. Though, i am happy its not releasing this year so it can hopefully be a polished experience, and that Mega Evolution is back.
