One thing I love about the SNES is that when people know what they're doing, they can make the graphics and game look and feel like an animated cartoon. I know there's less interest in that now, but it really has helped the great games age well.

It’s possible he may not have known about that bombable hut. I played the game for almost 20 years and didn’t know about that for a long time. It always puzzled me why there would be a building with no discernible way of getting in.
I remember being so hyped about this game coming out as a kid. There was an article on the game in Nintendo Power (I think) which had a huge map of the overworld. The article mentioned how you could tell which walls could be bombed because they had a distinctive look. I went over every inch of that map with a magnifying glass, looking for all the cracks in the wall and circling each one so I wouldn't miss a thing.

And we had a NES but no Zelda games or Castlevania games but we had alot of other classic and some obscure games! Then we upgraded to a Sega Genesis instead of a SNES so I missed out alot of Nintendo exclusives growing up
You are the Bob Ross of video games. Great to watch to know how to paint/finish the game.... And awesome to have in the background. Thanks!
This is still the absolute pinnacle of perfection for Zelda games to me. Everything from the music to the art style chosen still holds up amazingly well to this very day. It is a true timeless classic in every sense of the word. A Link to the Past is what I hold up as my personal Game of All Time.

Using the sword to deflect projectiles back at an enemy later took the name "Dead Man's Volley." It became a pretty big staple in some Zelda games later on, including Wind Waker and Ocarina of Time, as well as Twilight Princess just to name a few, most notably during the Ganondorf fights, or Phantom Ganon in Wind Waker.
Have seen this game beginning to end thousands of times between playthroughs, speedruns, and races.. yet, I am here for this. Will be awesome watching nice, slow detailed walkthrough of this game with excellent commentary. Love this channel, man.

I sometimes got the red cane from Dungeon 6 first (without killing that boss usually) just to bypass a block puzzle in number 5 with it. 7 is almost rage inducing to me even these days at a certain point where you had to light 4 torches to open a door while using the stupid pad track to get around. This was the first Zelda that I played, and what an experience it was! Back when this game came out, the Light World/Dark World mechanic was mind-blowing! I must say, when I was little, it took me a while to figure out how you were supposed to get to the chest that contains the Moon Pearl. I know that this video is about the Light World portion of the game, but, I would like to make note of one subtle detail that I always liked: in the Dark World dungeons, when you are about to enter the boss room, there is a drawing on the floor of the boss.
Great video. This game takes me back. I spent so many hours looking for all the hidden tricks.
Excellent job man! Appreciate the vid. I played this when it first came out on the SNES. Blast from the past!
ohhh boy, ive been meaning to go back to this one for a few years
My favourite game as a kid! This game felt HUGE exploring the world. Il never forget playing this as a child :) Gonna watch the full 2 hours. This is a game I know the most from all your vids but can’t wait to see you play through it all. This video must of taken so much time and work, thank you!
The presentation of these videos is remarkable. They layout of the hints/maps/tips on the side is very pleasing to the eye. I hope this channel continues to grow and grow. I see great things for you!
My favorite Zelda and SNES game of all time. I have played LTTP since it launched back in 1991. I can't begin to count the amount of hours I have in this game, but even today I can play this game and still enjoy it like I was 7 years old :)
This is THE one I've been waiting for. Absolutely fantastic game.
Incredible work! Used to be my favorite game growing up and I just started playing it again last week.

@1:36:16 "Don't be afraid to talk to the old man, he's more than happy to fill you up" pause😂. Kidding aside, this video has an amazing amount of detail. Great job!
Lovin' this vid. I do remember beating this game. That "Ms.Cleo" reference had me cracking up. Keep up the great work bro.
It's so funny I'm actually playing this right now. And you've helped greatly, thank you!!!
I had beaten the game 100%, so I had nothing to worry about. Great video of an iconic old game.
A super metroid walkthrough is definitely coming sometime. Great video! Can't wait for part 2!
I've been playing this game for 30 years and I learned so much stuff I didn't know about it. Outstanding video
One of my all time favourite games! I am happy to see you have done this one now and can't wait to see the finish of it!!!
